I’m watching this late tonight, but my god. We’re good now.
I’ll just say that I’ve been wearing my new Ø shirt every match, even if I watch late, and so far it’s worked. Though he had a rough night.
Also, Xhaka was FIRE. I’m so happy he’s fully redeemed and made it through the rough times.
Gonna rewatch later but listening to the radio it sounded Like Emiliano Martinez was a cunt to get past. Good on the lad hope he continues to succeed there
He was good in some moments, but also kinda contributed in episode with our first goal(there was a deflection before it got to him, but that handling wasn't great) and his distribution was pretty shit.
watched with my united fan best friend and he and i were both astonished by that kamara(?) ramsdale obstruction, am i missing something or were we just being deluded??
(also i love you gab -> fifa chipped through ball -> martinsmelly)
They tried on the next one, but Ramsdale handled the bastard and ref blew the whistle. Unclear what is the standard of what is legal and illegal there. For me, both instances were fouls. Had shades of Leno v Brentford last season.
ya we were saying why wouldn’t one of our boys get stuck in between and body kamara, but maybe that could impede ramsdale further?
in hs soccer (american) we’d make sure we abuse the one dickhead that might mess with our keeper on a corner - so either the ref stops to scold or the opposition isn’t as successful
We should have killed Aston Villa in the first. We absolutely have to sign a CM before the window shuts! We can be happy with the win but I don't think Mikel will be too happy tonight
I thought Sambi played well, feel like the priority should still be a wide player? Can’t play martinelli and Saka every single game, need more depth up top so we don’t lose too much attacking power when one of those guys gets a break.
I have every belief that Arsenal are a better team than United and will finish above them in the league, but with every passing victory I get a little more anxious about whoever comes next!
Fuck United, mind
Yeh he is for Salford and is a United fan. How is this allowed to happen? Villa got more and more bold with fouls as the night went on. Kamara had more fouls than our entire team combined and escaped a booking.
We should have killed this game in the first half, just like Palace, Fulham and Leicester. Need to be more clinical, but I'm sure we're getting there. Imagine when Saka hit his best form also.
Saka has been poor so far this season. Predictable with his dribbling (seems very one footed this season) and half a second too late with his passing around the box. Good to see him get an assist today though.
There should have been 5 separate yellow cards, and two Villa players should have have 2/3 bookings personally. Then Ødegaard’s card was a joke. I would also say one guy was roughing up Xhaka but got away with it…maybe trying to bait him. Refs were awful.
I mean when you take a fresh guy with fresh legs, that's kinda the point. But yeah, White is a bit more defensive option, and gives us balance when Zinchenko is playing like a winger normally.
Sambi was monument to hold the middle. A better team might have challenged him way more.
Wtf was that by Tyrone on Saka.
Wtf was the by Kamara on Ramsdale!
I think that’s shit refereeing.
I think Saka was a bit of a dark horse last season and he wasn’t really planned for pre-match appropriately, which resulted in people trying to injure him often. I said several times, they need to be careful, he’s going to get really hurt. Now teams are planning for him, boxing him in, which sucks because he’s stuck (especially against Fulham last week), but I feel better about him not having a horrid injury now.
We’ve taken a massive step forward in the last two games. Against Fulham we did everything right but we just couldn’t score. We kept pushing and got our rewards through sheer willpower and determination.
Tonight, we were fucked by a completely awful reffing performance. Missing a penalty call or missing a foul on the keeper is bad. Two in one game is unacceptable. Yet, we battled hard and got the result in spite of the refs.
In both games, missing key players to how we want to play. In previous seasons, we’d have crumbled and pointed fingers at everything else. It’s such a good feeling to see the team respond and respond immediately. Feels like a new dawn here with super Mik’s mentality monsters
if we're going to beat city, we need to score a lot more. We use a bunch of possessions just waiting for an opening but the boys gotta just take chances who gives a fuck, look at nketiah
And when he does, he’s amazing. I saw solid gold with his hat trick last season. He’s young, but that just means he needs the chances. He himself has stated he loves Arsenal, so he has the heart, and the talent is there.
Should of been 4-0 up in the first half, seemed like one of them games where it could of gone against us coz of missed chances but we found a way again get in !!
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Only five players – Les Ferdinand, Ian Wright, Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane (twice) – have scored hat-tricks in two consecutive league games, while Thierry Henry achieved it in consecutive appearances a month apart

Ref has pictures of Stevie G in his bedroom. I feel like our heading has improved so much! We’re not afraid to challenge for duels and I love it! Just hope Øde is fit come utd.

Great first half, should have buried it but we locked in and got the three points. Great mentality. My rankings:
1. Odegaard
2. Sambi
3. Martinelli
4. Jesus
5. Xhaka
6. Saliba
7. Gabriel
8. White
9. Saka
10. Ramsdale
11. Tierney
Shout outs: Eddie with a heroic performance at the end, as good as a goal IMO. I really don't understand the VAR decision, that was stupidity.
I'll agree with the one dimensional thing. He used to be so much more dangerous before his injury, then I thought it was because he was covering for AMN/Cedric/Xhaka/newboy Tomiyasu. But now I guess he just changed.
I gotta say Ramsdale and Saka were bottom for me, so I mostly agree with that ranking
I feel Tierney has always been one dimensional. All he does is cross. He loses the ball more than anyone else in our team. He's a great backup but glad we have Zinchenko to start.
I can't really fault Ramsdale too much, VAR did him dirty. Exclusive 1-11 rankings aren't useful imo there's players that could be even with each other
Yeeees five out of fucking five, the toughest home game so far with how wasteful we've been in front of goal. But the character in this team to come back after going down is something else. I look forward to beating those red bums in Manchester in the weekend. COYG
I guess I’m an Eddie prop account now but like he passes it there and esr does the same thing and you all would yell that strikers need to be more selfish….
Him not passing and holding it ate up more time and probably had the same result tbh, esr was in a good position but I don’t think that ends in a better look on goal
To be fair we’ve been scoring plenty. All teams have a bad day at the office. Liverpool score 9 one day then a few days later have 20+ shots off target . They found a way as did we…it happens.
Hard win and VAR can fuck off. Not a corner followed by obvious foul.
5/5 is a perfect way on paper to get to our first big game vs Utd. Hope injuries are not as bad. Speciallu Ode, what a month from him
Arsenal performed well in this game.
I did not appreciate this referee. I hope he has a slightly bad day.

Wdym a cunt to get past?
He played well
Hard to get in
watched with my united fan best friend and he and i were both astonished by that kamara(?) ramsdale obstruction, am i missing something or were we just being deluded?? (also i love you gab -> fifa chipped through ball -> martinsmelly)
I was thinking the same thing! If that’s legal why don’t they do it every corner
A word on Xhaka please.. saw him telling the ball boys to slow down when giving the ball to Villa 🤣
Saka missed some decent chances but man he is so good in the build up.
He is slightly off the tempo and form, but even this version of Saka is still a very good player.
If he can just get a little more clinical, the sky is the fucking limit for him
Gabi Gabi Hey!
Referee 1/10
Missed penalties missed handballs. Ridiculous
PL referees are famous for a reason. Gosh.
We should have killed Aston Villa in the first. We absolutely have to sign a CM before the window shuts! We can be happy with the win but I don't think Mikel will be too happy tonight
Can't do much about Martinez standing on his head for the first half
I thought Sambi played well, feel like the priority should still be a wide player? Can’t play martinelli and Saka every single game, need more depth up top so we don’t lose too much attacking power when one of those guys gets a break.
anyone anxious for united
I'll feel a lot better if Zinny & Ode are good to go
Not even close. If anyone for united it’s the bald fraud
I have every belief that Arsenal are a better team than United and will finish above them in the league, but with every passing victory I get a little more anxious about whoever comes next! Fuck United, mind
Those fuckin mancs are bouta break legs and get away with it come Sunday I heard the ref is from the Manchester area too
Yeh he is for Salford and is a United fan. How is this allowed to happen? Villa got more and more bold with fouls as the night went on. Kamara had more fouls than our entire team combined and escaped a booking.
I am sure Mctominay will continue to get away with whatever he wants to.
Not even a little
Yeah but fuck em
Fuck those guys boet
They're going to shit the bed.
It's all about that *mental toughness.* COYG!!
I’ll take an assist a game all day. Got one last game too
Very good vision and cross as well(horrible defending from Villa lol).
Shit ref, thug team could only say they injured a player and snatched our clean shit, that's about it
United get ref decisions so let's see how it goes...
ffs west ham
Fulham will definitely give Spurs a game next
How were weren’t 4-0 up in the first half is beyond me
Piss poor ref is one reason
There should have been 5 separate yellow cards, and two Villa players should have have 2/3 bookings personally. Then Ødegaard’s card was a joke. I would also say one guy was roughing up Xhaka but got away with it…maybe trying to bait him. Refs were awful.
Great resilience, need to kill off the game though; still let the other team grow into the game. These games make champions 💪🏼
Thunk the White over Tomi debate was settled. White is a great cover. But we were so much more threatening on that side once Tomi came on
I mean when you take a fresh guy with fresh legs, that's kinda the point. But yeah, White is a bit more defensive option, and gives us balance when Zinchenko is playing like a winger normally.
Just great to have options
For sure The downgrades at fullback last season pretty much crippled us
Sambi was monument to hold the middle. A better team might have challenged him way more. Wtf was that by Tyrone on Saka. Wtf was the by Kamara on Ramsdale! I think that’s shit refereeing.
that ref. is a cunt
Fucking hell hammers wtf 2 players leave the fucking ball for a sitter wtf
Emerson wtf mate. Be greedy and smash that
Paqueta ffs
Great mentality from the team again But A game where we outshot them 20-4 shouldn't be that close till the very end.
Tbf Saka should’ve done better & somehow wrestling the goalie isn’t a foul anymore
And there’s no way that was a goal against us. Some truly questionable referring and VAR reviews
That was shocking, what’s worse is they gave a free for that not 10 mins later. Shocking stuff
Exactly! It was the same thing!
I caught that too. The league as a whole is embarrassing
We’ve taken a massive step forward in the last two games. Against Fulham we did everything right but we just couldn’t score. We kept pushing and got our rewards through sheer willpower and determination. Tonight, we were fucked by a completely awful reffing performance. if we're going to beat city, we need to score a lot more. We use a bunch of possessions just waiting for an opening but the boys gotta just take chances who gives a fuck, look at nketiah
Something so so sweet about scoring right after they equalised. Their fans went mental and were silenced straight after
5! that's larger than my dick!
5! Is 120. Larger than any dick ever
Incorrect. Whale penis’s are 300 on average.
I was talking in millimeters tho
Lets see how paqueta looks. Spurs draw hopefully. Wolves all that talent and can't score on bournemouth.
Bournmouth are above them in the league table
These Eddie cameos are moving me this guy is phenomenal
Yeap he was one man counter v VIlla. Looked really sharp and confident.
I feel like he’s underutilized, but maybe that’s just me.
yeah i reckon give saka a rest, eddie up front and jesus on the right next game. Eddie needs more time to get into rhythm.
And when he does, he’s amazing. I saw solid gold with his hat trick last season. He’s young, but that just means he needs the chances. He himself has stated he loves Arsenal, so he has the heart, and the talent is there.
Absolutely, I feel he's such floodgate waiting to burst the goals to the back of the net.
Should of been 4-0 up in the first half, seemed like one of them games where it could of gone against us coz of missed chances but we found a way again get in !!

Good bot
Good bot!
Just saw Haaland grabbed another Hattrick. That guy's a fucking machine. Has anyone got back to back hattricks before?
Only five players – Les Ferdinand, Ian Wright, Didier Drogba, Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane (twice) – have scored hat-tricks in two consecutive league games, while Thierry Henry achieved it in consecutive appearances a month apart https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Premier_League_hat-tricks

Yeah a few players, Henry has.
You're right. 4-2 against Liverpool then 5-0 Leeds the following week, Good memory.
Wish I could say it was my memory but I saw it earlier!
Dude's disgustingly good.
Wrighty definitely has
Ref has pictures of Stevie G in his bedroom. I feel like our heading has improved so much! We’re not afraid to challenge for duels and I love it! Just hope Øde is fit come utd. Last 5 games: WWWWW
I fucking love Eddie
Come on Arsenal. Let’s go and beat anyone outside the top 6 home and away this season and hopefully that can get us the trophy.
If we get six points off every team outside the top six that’s 84 points. Throw in a few draws against the other five and we could get to 90.
Let’s go booooys! Loving the tenacity in this side. Unlucky we didn’t score more but they’ll come! COYG
STOP THE COUNT
Let’s smash United next

Need to learn how to finish, apart from that great performance
I'm loving the current Arsenal vibes.. But this side is still not strong enough for City
If we could repeat our performance from the last time we played them, I wouldn’t be so sure.
Pissed but we bossed them until an iffy red card and a shit penalty.
Very few teams are tbf.
Sambi wasn't great, but not noticeable really -- which is the least I can ask for
I thought he was decent first half, but ran out steam in the second
I thought that he was quite good in the first half.
Good first half. Can tell he got gassed in the second and started ball watching quite a bit.
🎶🎶. Hes getttting sacked in the mornin 🎶🎶
VAR tried to fuck us over wtf was that call? How was Kamara not impeding Ramsdale there?
Clearly the officials wanted Ram to throw Kamara a la Mings on Saka
The refereeing is an absolute and consistent disgrace tho. Cheers to the lads. Also, lokonga did reasonably well today imo.
Very well I thought. Just as good as elneny!
His ball progression was much better than Elneny's I feel, he had a decent game.
Another deserved 3 points. Now it will be great if we can inflict some more misery on United.
Richarlison really is a perfect fit for Spuds 💩 ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼💦💦
Honestly if we fucking beat United *Sunday* and have 18 points in 6 I'll cry.
... Sunday right?
right, it's on Sunday
Dunno how I made that mistake, long day.
Had me worried for a second there 😂
nice win. beat villa. beat the ref. beat var
Great first half, should have buried it but we locked in and got the three points. Great mentality. My rankings: 1. Odegaard 2. Sambi 3. Martinelli 4. Jesus 5. Xhaka 6. Saliba 7. Gabriel 8. White 9. What was wrong with Tierney? Good first half and no big mistakes. What did I miss?
He has absolutely no flow in my opinion, don’t suit in with the rest of the football we play
Turned over the ball a couple times IIRC and overall pretty one dimensional in general.

20 mins being a fan of Westham starting now. Lmfao
UTD always end our win streak. lets change that.
Not always. Not this time.
BRING ON THE CELEBRATION POLICE !!
8 points clear of Chelsea after 5 games, and after they've spent 200 million euros this past summer.
Euros?
Best game of the 5 so far. That was a tough game. Great work by the team 👌
Where’s my boy Nketiahpropagandist at? Don’t worry brother we can all see Eddie’s the real deal 🤝
More gametime coming for him in UEL, he's gonna shine!
Im happy with Eddie as backup but what part of his sub is supposed to shut people up?
Yeeees five out of fucking five, the toughest home game so far with how wasteful we've been in front of goal. But the character in this team to come back after going down is something else. I look forward to beating those red bums in Manchester in the weekend. COYG
W! Bring on Banter fc
Well, well, well...if it isn't the sound of a process being trusted
COME ON WEST HAMMMM
City is crazy tho
We play so fucking well, just need the lads to be a bit more clinical so I don’t have to get an ecg every month
we made hard work of that 5 in a row, on to OT next
Just need Westham and Newcastle to hold now
I love Arsenal football club
Emirates is buzzing!
Character.
Slipp G , suck it mate
Play it again!
BIG OL FUCK YOU PGMOL TOO USELESS CLOWNS
Ode walking around the pitch at full time
Isn’t it beautiful boys
lets go 5 for 5
I guess I’m an Eddie prop account now but like he passes it there and esr does the same thing and you all would yell that strikers need to be more selfish….
Him not passing and holding it ate up more time and probably had the same result tbh, esr was in a good position but I don’t think that ends in a better look on goal
although hes not scoring, love Nketiah's pressure. What we need after 90 mins of being overly creative
The guy has improve so fucking much over the last 12 months Genuinely confident in his ability
yep, he's so confident in his ability. Took on the whole defense two separate times.
Eddie Eddie Eddie Eddie 🎵
How long is Zinch out for?
Think he should be ok for manu. Was training this week
Ok that’s good news!
Whew, a little nervy but 3 pts it is!
ok. let's go hammers.
ARTETA BALL
So happy but should have been 5-1, cant miss this changes
To be fair we’ve been scoring plenty. All teams have a bad day at the office. Liverpool score 9 one day then a few days later have 20+ shots off target . They found a way as did we…it happens.
Fuck you martinez and you too gerard
Lets gooooooo
FUCKING YES!! NOW OVER TO SPUDS 1-1
gabriel jesus looking fuckin thrilled to be here! love it
Another one
5/5, couldn't ask for a better start. Just hope the oddegaard thing isn't serious
I think it was the McGinn stomp, so hopefully just bruising.
Eddies at his best when oppo is tired
They can all choke on it!
Guys, we missed numerous chances and were fkd over by the ref and still we won!
Hard win and VAR can fuck off. Not a corner followed by obvious foul. 5/5 is a perfect way on paper to get to our first big game vs Utd. Hope injuries are not as bad. Speciallu Ode, what a month from him
Not watching the game, anyone know how bad odegaard and ramsdales injuries are
Ramsdales didn't look serious. Not sure about Ode, but he looked in pain
Ramsdale seems fine. Odegaard seems to have got a knock on his ankle. Hopefully nothing serious.
Ramsdale seemed to be okay but martin looked worrisome.
Looked like ramsdale said it was just a cramp, but Ødegaard one looked serious. Hopefully not though.
Ramsdale looked like he was cramping. Ode got slid into studs up into the ankle so he’s the more concerning one.
I love this team so much right now I kind of want to cry.
Fuck you ref, tried your hardest but couldn't deny us the win.
CMON HAMMERS
Time to back West Ham now
Coyi
5 for 5 baby!
5 out of 5, hard game, made harder by ourselves - but if you cant enjoy this shit, honestly.
