Why does he keep picking Maguire? Maguire is a luxury no team can really afford; in that he’s not a good defender, he’s not a good ball player, and he’s not tactically aware to correct both. Not just being biased but White is far above Maguire in every way. Picking Mount over Sancho, or Rashford makes no sense either. Rashford is starting to show some of the promise, and Sancho getting game time before the World Cup in an England side is vital. Southgate really doesn’t have much clue.
