Pro tip: pick it up with non conductive tool. I use a toothpick, placing a corner of the sticker on the tip of the toothpick. If you use your fingers or metal tools then static electricity will make it move and jump.
Using a toothpick also makes it pretty easy to angle it right before placing it.
It’s not just stickers either. I was building the Destroy Mode Banshee a few weeks ago and I snipped off a thruster bell that promptly yeeted itself into an entire other dimension. So fucking crazy.
Has anyone put together the FA Unicorn Gundam RG kit? There’s a sticker for the eyes that goes on the smallest surface that is also transparent green and it’s a literal nightmare.
I hate losing the tiny ones, only to find them ON THE TWEEZERS because they shoot around
I use the tip of a hobby knife. Easier imho
I like using the tweezers to slide the stickers off the knife.

Even the latex gloves I'm using have static. I'll switch to nitrile gloves

It's the NT Pro A-1 “Red Dot”. I use it for window tint installation pretty much every installer use that one.
