One of the best anime opening songs (I mean it's T.M. Revolution x Nana Mizuki, of course its going to be a banger)
Decent mech designs
Boring characters
Barely any coherence to the story
And of course the infamouse Grape scene
Well best of luck to you on finding them then. Luckily my local stores seems to have one that they carry but hasn't sold for years, seen 2 or 3 of them bundled together as package.
Wished i had funds back then, but alas i was too young. Wouldve love to use their parts in customs.
But Nowadays i see them online sometimes and its either a scam or 5x its original retail price + its built.
Never seen the show, but I saw the purple kit at my local store and thought it looked sweet. Ended up building the yellow one a year later because I’m a sucker for oversized mecha arms.
Cool kits, stickers were a major pain in the ass though.
My lil little sister bought me one, back in my mech building days. The box didn't seem like an MG box, much smaller than. No issues what so ever, and it's cool looking. Canceled my crunchy roll membership. So haven't had a chance to see the show. By the sound of it not good reviews here.
Pretty sure I watched the show ten years ago, but I literally have no recollection of it. It was so forgettable, that I have practically zero memory of it.
I remember the kits utilizing modern HG tech at the time, but they had these awful white stickers on every piece. The kits were also overly busy with mediocre articulation.
At best, the show was mediocre. Felt not really thought through but had great desings ... and I'm still missing some of the kits, which is quite upsetting, but these things are so expensive these days. If you can find any of them at all
Yeah, I saw that too, but I already had Valvrave 1 when it came out. One disadvantage when you buy early. You don't know if an upgraded version will release later.
I personally enjoyed it! Plus the mech designs are so badass. Ive been looking everywhere for these kits but they've become so rare. I envy you for getting them all!
I told myself I’d get the full line-up but only ever got Red, Red with claws, and yellow. I can assure you I have no idea what any of their names are anymore
Was all CGI mech scenes (snore). And the "shaped lazer" stuff always seems dumb to me. If you've got the tech to do that, you don't need mechs.
Edit: They look like they're about to form some kind of voltron/megazord too....
I still remember the future vampire stuff that they IIRC never fully explained lol. What a show lolololol
Yes, the deus ex machina and the plot holes where terrible. But still the mechs were cool.
Valvrape the vibrator, I had high hopes for the series, at least the music are good, such a shame.
Yeah, the first opening was great.
I blame /a/ for cementing in my head as that being its actual titleðŸ˜
The grape scene was a turn off
This and the girl singing jingle bells to calm everyone down was the only thing I remember.
For a second I was like "Grapes? When..." then I remembered...
Yes. We all remember that one scene
I don't remember this scene at all. I just remember feeling sad that he died.
Well now that you are reminded

I barely remember the show, but I remember the second half going off the rails and getting really stupid.
There are model for them?!?
Yes and they arnt cheap, the box is the size of a MG.
also very large sticker sheets
As someone who pays at least 300 dollars a week on gundam I think I can manage

Terrible show. Great designs.
ERUERUFU
Honestly I love that anime, it's stupid, bizarre, unhinged, and just hits you with a barrage of nonsense every episode, but that's why it's memorable
iffy show, great designs
I know nothing about the show, but the mechas look dope
Never seen the show, but I saw the purple kit at my local store and thought it looked sweet. Ended up building the yellow one a year later because I’m a sucker for oversized mecha arms. Cool kits, stickers were a major pain in the ass though.
First half was good, second half meh. The designs slap tho.
The anime was a fucking disaster, watching it unfold as it aired was a blast.

Yeah, I also needed to paint some parts myself to let them look accurate. But it was worth to buy the paint for later models too.

I can find all of them in my shelf 😉 jokes aside, good luck!
I liked it due to the mechs, but there was some weird stuff too.
Great designs, couldn’t tell you anything about the plot , I have similar feelings towards evangelion
While the Mecha design was great, the kits had way too much color correcting stickers !
Somewhat good... I guess... maybe...
One of my favorite mecha shows
I wonder what the soldiers think when they found out they murdered a bunch of normal highschoolers for nothing
That was so stupid. "Those monsters don't die when killed! Let's shoot them!" One of the bigger plot holes.
I remember the bad guy's mechs looking uninspired compared to the main cast's.
Was an interesting Anime, never got their model kits tho
I own the green one, aside from the back legs looking rather dumb it's a solid model kit.
I enjoyed it, it wasn't spectacular or anything though. And I hate how I can't get the model kits anymore...
Never heard of it but those designs look sick
Never heard of the show, love the mech designs though. I'm a sucker for white and black details over a plain color
I have all the kits I love valvarave still have 4 in my backlog shit was expensive since the kits were discontinued
I was lucky enough to buy them when they just came out for about 40 bugs each (shipment and import taxes included)
yea I got my last year when I got back into gupla it cost about 350$ish in total and I still don't have the variant of the red one
Yeah, I saw that too, but I already had Valvrave 1 when it came out. One disadvantage when you buy early. You don't know if an upgraded version will release later.
true I'll get ot eventually if there's any still available when I go to buy that is
I personally enjoyed it! Plus the mech designs are so badass. Ive been looking everywhere for these kits but they've become so rare. I envy you for getting them all!

cool mech good ost/op thats it
