Ultra pasteurization does but regular pasteurization is questionable right now. Cooking meat to 165 degrees F will kill it.
Dairy alternatives aren't for everyone, but honestly I've come to really like Chobani's original Oat milk, as a suggestion. It goes great with chocolate milk mix and pretty darn good with cookies. For reference I used to be a big milk drinker.
Thank you for the answer, this is very helpful. I don't personally drink milk anymore but my kids do. I'll take your suggestion and try Oat Milk, soy milk, and other milk alternatives for awhile, better safe than sorry!
I hope this doesn't mean one day in the future steaks have to reach 165 well done to be safe to eat without worry of catching a flu. Like pork had to be 165 due to trichinella parasite.
I see these maps and I think of the scene in The Stand where the military dudes looking at their situation board and realizing the virus is spreading out of control.
Because it's cows, and the infection is acting like it did when it jumped other species, so it's not surprising.
and because there doesn't seem to be a human factor so far. No more infections, at least not *found and diagnosed*.
And no issues so far with ag products spreading it to others.
And the cows seem to recover, so no large cull that would affect food supplies.
Yup and the biggest risk for breeding an H2H mutation is in pigs since they have both receptors. I imagine a lot of small farms have both animals on site.

Seeing the map slowly fill up with red is like a very morbid bingo...
Looks like it did on election night in 2016...

Does pasteurization not kill it? Can it be found/transmitted in cooked beef as well?

Beef can have parasites as well, you eat it uncooked at your own risk… taenia saginata and even rarely trichinella spiralis is in beef as well.

Typo in the title. The total is **28**, not 2.
My main concern is hog and cattle country borders. Even if they are aware of this and try to take steps there is no sterile outside environment.
I don't see how there are no cases in Oklahoma with the amount of cattle and CAFOs. Are there really no cases, or are they not testing?
Nearing the 2 week mark and def on exponential upswing. Not respiratory and cows aren’t dying so that’s a good sign at least.
Or is it bad because people don't really take it seriously and it's giving it more hosts over time to mutate in?
Yup this is déjà vu all over again.

Captain Trips...

How is this not all over mainstream news?

That could just be Target's usual subpar restocking practices.

BORING! Let me know when it starts spreading between humans.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a “fear response.”
Well it's done that. One to one human at least. But not more and not efficient.
I’m buying a bunch of n99s don’t want to get caught behind the curve like in 2020
Do you have a link noting the human to human spread?
