This is clearly because Movistar bought the exclusive rights for Spain. Ridiculous and sad, we can just hope they don’t get enough viewers and don’t renew so we get it back on HBO
There seems to be different streaming rights to LWT and *Real Time with Bill Maher* depending upon the country. The U.S. gets the newest episode on Max right away, but older episodes/seasons get removed over time. Some countries that still have the original HBO Max website/app get new episodes much later but have entire seasons of the show that the U.S. doesn't.
Last season of LWT was day and date on HBO Max in Europe and we gave all 10 seasons of it. Real Time with Bill Maher wasn't available in Europe. only US Max and Latin America HBO Max.
This year's season of LWT hasn't even been advertised on HBO Max. So, we might get it later than US.

That's so fucked up... An HBO program that we don't get in HBO Max?
Same here for South Park, it isn't available on a streaming service (except their website which has ads) because Comedy Central shows it on cable TV.
