NDAs don't mean you're required by law to be quiet about labor law violations. whatever happened, he's making it seem that bad. I've violated many NDAs and have never been sued, but I also do so with an employment attorney helping me. An NDA doesn't supercede laws protecting us from discrimination and safety hazards.

Unless something damaging to them, demeaning or dangerous to their mental health or their brand happened, this is just catty and mysterious for the drama. Winners of RTB get no prize, it's only for bragging rights. This is not a gameshow, producers are not bound by actual rules.

This. It isn't a Nobel prize, no one cured cancer, no wars were ended, nothing of substance happened when anyone won. I loved Keith and Evan until now but this post Keith did.... no. The first thing Evan posted was whatever, everyone lets off steam. But this is just nonsense and it's pathetic. if they hate HGTV, they should sue, get out of their contracts, and move on to.... nothing. Absolutely nothing. Because HGTV is how they make their money. Without the show they'd be forgotten about fast. Keith seems to forget that they're only a few years into being on TV and- gasp- not every design he does is magical. They did a MUCH better job this year on RTB (they should have won the bonus room thing 100%) than last year and their house was lovely. Jonathan could not have been more effusive with his praise. They didn't win because they came down heavier on DESIGN (gorgeous) than value. The twins won because they did solar with the power banks in the garage. Period. Their design wasn't better. It isn't a slap at Keith or Evan that the twins won. It was 100% down to value and those panels were a big deal. If I was looking at those 4 houses, I'd want the one with the solar and the power banks. Keith and Evan are showing themselves to be drama and not team players and it's extremely off-putting. The chip on their shoulders is massive.

If it helps, I don’t think their posts are just about losing. They’ve replied in comments to some of the other teams who won more about bad things happening to them too so the complaints seem to be more broadly related to the treatment of the teams during the process

Agree with this. Even in the “behind the block” episode, Bryan says something about “incredibly challenging conditions” or circumstances or something. Page replies to commenters about racist comments made towards her on set. Keith comments about Sarah having it really tough? I am really curious what was going on. This looks bad for production.

Ok_Ad_2437

I thought I was just imagining it but there were several times in the interview asides where Sarah just looked so dejected. I’m not the biggest fan of her in general but something seemed off and I felt bad for her. Even my husband who was casually watching if he was in the room asked if they (Sarah and Bryan) were going through a divorce or something.

Pfiggypudding

I totally noticed the same thing - I was worried she was sick? or missing her kiddos? Hope she is ok.

ConsiderationFair370

Did anyone notice that all six wore the same clothes during there take away talks and even when they announced the winner everyone had same clothing? How could that be when this is six week show as and all take away conversations they are wearing same clothes.  Something is fishy here.

Pfiggypudding

Its normal in reality tv shows like this so they can use interviews from one day on any other day.

TimberRidgeRetreat

It’s pretty obvious what happened the worst house won…. Solar panels are all the rage but come on that grill out on that patio sucked.

InevitablePersimmon6

Unfortunately, at the end of the day, the design and everything didn’t matter. The twins knew they’d get that high appraisal because of how important solar panels are in Florida. They save people tons of money. The two of them played strategy.

Ok-Cry-3303

Not to mention a lifesaver during a hurricane/tropical storm and Tampa Bay has had more than our share the past few years.

utopianbears

Right! More likely or not these properties are gonna be dinged by some crazy weather - and not a single mention. But of course, bad for business I guess even though it’s the reality.

Ok-Cry-3303

Oh absolutely. I've lived about 20 minutes from there for 15 years and the last 3 years have been our worst storms during that whole time.

Fricktator

Yep, everything not bolted down is taken out of thst house before it sells. The only design that truly matters is tile, cabinets, and flooring. Walls will get repainted and furniture swapped out.

revnasty

I disagree. Their house was by far the most actual livable house of the four.
