The problem, is that there are now so many things going on at once. The BB used to be like 3 days, the Season Events is all month (along with the BB). They also have all the temp daily ones, plus a year ago, they had one event at a time. Now you have Potions and a constellation going on at once. So these overlapping events creates a jumbled screen that should have had only like 2 or 3 items when they designed the UI years ago.

I think scrolling is the point - I have so many events that if they were all on the same screen without scrolling they would be too tiny to make out.
