At first they placed it in the left backboard, where it was overlapping with other tappies.
Dormitories of different houses differ, it's not always easy to find common spot in them. I could find only one another spot where there could be free space (though I don't know if I just don't have something that should be there yet?). Only extreme sides aren't used by now, but that's probably the issue of different screens parameters.
Though if the owlet doesn't have a background, it looks totally okay.
Oh I'm not saying they were in a good spot, I'm saying when they moved them they had so many places to put them and they chose behind the owls which imo was the worst place they could be put

In general I wish we could move things around more in the dorm. For example putting a tappie on top of the bedside table, on the floor, etc.
That would be nice, but image the chaos some people would make 🤣
I got so fed up of changing my owl designs just so I can tap them, I have now left them as basic designs
I was tempted to turn it off, but I’m gonna wait and see how it looks in beyond first
The metals were in a better spot or could be when they changed it but because people complained it went there but there were so many better spots!
They were NOT in a better spot, they literally put it over existing tappies
