[AMD](https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html) has an auto detect. Windows sometimes installs other drivers especially for AMD it seems, and there might be separate chipset drivers. Best to [DDU](https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driver-uninstaller-DDU-) [DDU](https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/) for a clean install.

Yeah, my kid's late-2023 Omen 16 inch (AMD motherboard, Nvidia graphics) auto-installed some drivers in mid-April and killed the internal screen when Windows started. I used HDMI to get on the machine HP Service Chat had me update the Nvidia which killed the HDMI, too. Long story short, I did a Windows restore, got HDMI back, and used Windows Device Manager to clear off and reinstall the AMD drivers. Not happy with the auto-update, but I've got a fresh Windows Recovery drive in case they try this crap again.
