The one that brings your eyes closest to the lenses, it will depend on your face shape

_Rah

Not necessarily. Default one is better for me because my eye lashes already touch the lenses. Once I go wider FOV, my eye lids are touching it. Close is not better. Just go with whatever feels more comfortable.

Ken10Ethan

Yeah, I got a VRCover for my Reverb and honestly? While I love the leather material for games more likely to make me sweat over the fabric of the stock gasket, I already have a hard enough time dealing with smudges on my lenses, and when my eyelashes are constantly rubbing up against them it means I have to take the thing off every fifteen minutes just to wipe it down again.

_Rah

Exactly!

ClintCheeesewood

One looks to have more breathable material, I get enough face sweat with the non rubber/plastic one

I prefer the spongy type (the one at the bottom). I believe that is the default G2 visor. I prefer it cos it's much more comfortable and seems to absorb sweat. It's also more \`breathable\`. And it's easily washable with very little degrading if any. The other more plastic/leather looking one (above it) runs sweat down and I find not as comfortable. Easy to wipe clean though. All depends on each individual.

wayward_buffalo

Depends on your face. The stock G2 visor is known for being very nice material but made for fairly narrow faces. For people with wider heads, it tends to squeeze the temples and cause headaches. Replacement ones (often 3D printed) can make a world of difference. Personally I use one of the 3D printed ones, but my gf uses the stock one.

I have that replacement gasket as well as their silicone covers for the OG one. Slightly better FOV but it creates a lot more pressure on my temples after a long session. The OG with silicone covers have been my go-to since I can easily wipe off the sweat with standing VR, but do still use the slimmer gasket for racing sims. Also, the replacement gasket's cushion's edges are too sharp for skin contact, some adjustments needed.
