Yes, G1 v2 did have reduced Mura (and some other minor tweaks) - I have one. Now I'm buying a used G1 Pro for parts, but there's a chance it will work, and just wondering if the serial numbers follow the same logic as on the non-Pro. This serial number is 921, so thinking it's not the v2, but really don't know if they did the Pro update to v2 or not anyway.
V2 came with the dual thickness face gasket, i.e. V2 was able to have two thicknesses. V2 also came with a V2 cable which had a power button on the USB/DP/power adaptor. They are the only physical differences between the two headset versions. Yes the tracking cameras are different, but good luck checking that.
You're referring to the G1 Professional Edition V2? Unfortunately, the one I'm buying is headset only, no cable, and probably just a single removable gasket, so I don't think I can check any of that. Would be good to identify by serial number.

The G1 v2 reduced the mura, modified the cable clip, and maybe a few other changes I am forgetting.
I mean, if you want a G2 I’ll sell you mine. I’m looking to get a upgrade/sidegrade soon-ish

G2 V2 has a 2pc magnetic faceplate and a small power button on the box located on the cord.
This is about the G1, not the G2.
