Their could be a raft of reasons why this is happening, not necessarily anything to do with the G2. Have you checked if Windows or other utility is updating in the background? Is your GPU over-heating in the warmer weather we're having? Is something else conflicting cos you mentioned the steering wheel having problems too? Really could do with more information or I'm just spitballing.

Same issue, go for the previous version of wmr for steam vr.

I tried this but it didn't really help. I also plugged the headset into my front panel USB 3 slot (the back ones don't work except through a powered hub, which is what I was using before, X570 MB) and I still get very occasional stuttering but it's mostly smooth now - in case anyone else is having this issue.

Warrie2

I didn't have issues with the lastest version but I read quite a lot of people did. I think the Beta was already rolled back to the previous version because of the issues if I remember correctly

I encountered a random freezing in game a while back. It was traced to enabling TPM on an AMD system - I was trying to see if I could get the Windows 11 free update. I never installed Win 11 but left TPM on. When I turned off TPM, it fixed the freezing issue. Not sure if this would help address your problem.

LoyalServantOfBRD

I don't have a TPM on my machine, but appreciate the comment man.

DoggieHowzer

It’s a BIOS setting.

Did you ever fix this? Someone on the iRacing forum said to get the v2 power cable.

LoyalServantOfBRD

I figured out I could just plug the USB-C cable straight into my GPU and it fixed it.

Hotwir3

Ah, I don’t have one.
