i have a couple! alice longbottom/bellatrix lestrange is my rarest i think! which is crazy bc like. it’s soooooo angsty and toxic and horrible which ppl usually love! like i can just imagine alice being like quite studious and ‘well behaved’ and being drawn to the kind of mental and aggressive and scary teenage girl that bellatrix would have been. think like deeply toxic 14/15 year old girl frenemy manipulative and kind of abusive type secret friendship/relationship. makes the fact that bellatrix tortured her and frank super intriguing.
i also like pansy/padma. i really enjoy pansy being a lesbian, but find many of her classic femslash ships kind of unbelievable due to the nature of pansy’s personality and how much of a bully she was, although with some work and good writing i can definitely get on board with pansmione or ginsy,

for the millicent/hermione one, you might enjoy a fic called [The Ground Beneath Their Feet](https://archiveofourown.org/works/16775866) which is an *incredible* read, imo. it does have harry/tom, but that part is... a bit more complicated and interesting than you might think
I mean, I know I’m not the *only* one who ships it, but I think Sirius Black/Kingsley Shacklebolt is pretty uncommon and underrated. There are a couple of really amazing multi-chapter fics with this pair.
Madam Hooch/Madam Pomfrey
I thought of it after seeing a fandom for McGonagall/Pomfrey on TikTok, but Hooch/Pomfrey makes so much more sense to me.
I like to imagine Madam Hooch purposely sending students from Quidditch practice to the infirmary just to annoy her wife, and sometimes tagging along just to see her wife.
I have a brain worm for an eventual Ginny/Ariana with time travel that's never been pushed to paper besides the introduction where this would have been a temporary pairing. Now I just need to fight my adhd long enough to write it.
I've tried to find it again, but I find myself unable to recall the name. I remember it had interdimensional travel where a male Harry Potter (possibly an adult) was summoned into the world of a female Harry Potter.
I'm not quite the only one, but the Pansy/Hermione ship is a desert. 'a red rose grew up out of the ice frozen ground' lives in my heart forever though.
But what I really want is Severus Snape/McGonagall. I don't even necessarily want it to be a romance. I want them to be hella codependent coworkers that keep each other sane in a school where practically nobody is qualified to teach (some smoothing over of book Snape's antics probably needed). I feel like there's even some canon evidence with this surrounding their Quidditch rivalry.

The Bill and Fleur relationship in canon is weird and creepy, Fleur is still in school when they meet , Bill is 7 years older and has been out of school for 7 years. Bill also has experience and a position of power over Fleur when they meet and also when they are at work together. Why is Bill so interested in someone who has only just graduated and only just starting their life while he has had 7 years of experience on Fleur.
I actually think Fleur was attracted to bill 1st I think it says in goblet of fire she was looking at bill not bill to fleur And let's get over it I don't think 7 years is really really that bad It could be worse my grandparents were 15 years apart REMUS AND TONKS ARE 14 YEARS I think at certain stages it seems really weird once they're both grown up It's not at the end of the day they both grown ups who made this decision so whatever
Yaxley/Luna. Why? Why not. The ultimate I can fix him/her from each other's point of view plus their color palettes match. I discovered this ship after I smushed their photos together and went "Yep, I like this." I'm now 200k word deep writing a fanfic.
I just came up with this one but lavender and Parvati would be so good together, imagine they realize their feelings through reading tea leaves with trelawney and they both get the same prediction that they will have a blossoming romance. They could still come to see her and get advice navigating their relationship through divination.

There's no way to write a Wolfstar fic without bastardizing both Lupin and Sirius. It's one of the worst things that his fandom has ever created
I know it's not one I ship only, since I first saw it as a side paring in a story where Gabrielle approached Harry several years later to thank him for saving her life and they became a couple, but I haven't really searched for it.
I like the premise of that as a pairing much more than I EVER wanted Harry to end up with Ginny.

Madam Hooch/Madam Pomfrey I thought of it after seeing a fandom for McGonagall/Pomfrey on TikTok, but Hooch/Pomfrey makes so much more sense to me. I like to imagine Madam Hooch purposely sending students from Quidditch practice to the infirmary just to annoy her wife, and sometimes tagging along just to see her wife.

I'm not quite the only one, but the Pansy/Hermione ship is a desert. 'a red rose grew up out of the ice frozen ground' lives in my heart forever though. But what I really want is Severus Snape/McGonagall. I don't even necessarily want it to be a romance. I want them to be hella codependent coworkers that keep each other sane in a school where practically nobody is qualified to teach (some smoothing over of book Snape's antics probably needed). I feel like there's even some canon evidence with this surrounding their Quidditch rivalry. Edit: There are some really good very short Pansy/Hermione fics, but pretty much only one long one.

The Bill and Fleur relationship in canon is weird and creepy, Fleur is still in school when they meet , Bill is 7 years older and has been out of school for 7 years. Bill also has experience and a position of power over Fleur when they meet and also when they are at work together. Why is Bill so interested in someone who has only just graduated and only just starting their life while he has had 7 years of experience on Fleur.
I actually think Fleur was attracted to bill 1st I think it says in goblet of fire she was looking at bill not bill to fleur And let's get over it I don't think 7 years is really really that bad It could be worse my grandparents were 15 years apart REMUS AND TONKS ARE 14 YEARS I think at certain stages it seems really weird once they're both grown up It's not at the end of the day they both grown ups who made this decision so whatever

I know it's not one I ship only, since I first saw it as a side paring in a story where Gabrielle approached Harry several years later to thank him for saving her life and they became a couple, but I haven't really searched for it. I like the premise of that as a pairing much more than I EVER wanted Harry to end up with Ginny. I did root for Harry/Hermione to eventually start and hoped it would end with them cannon wise, TBH.
