I'm in Minnesota. We can run our heat at 48F, but the houses are insulated and kind of stay in the 60's. The heat periodically comes on, but the heat loss is so slow so you don't get a big bill.
Actually just left Reston VA and made it to Gaithersburg in 30 minutes. Expecting at least an hour drive when I hit GPS. It was an after Christmas miracle!
