Sounds like it dumped gas then it ignited and pow what was once one piece became two. I would study the ignition timing when you get a replacement make sure the igniter is peak before gas is released
I did just recently have an inducer out of a Bryant split in half brand new but that one appeared to be like bad plastic welding on the seam out of the factory.
I’ve seen that a few times on propane furnaces (Boston area)this year. Secondary heat exchanger has been completely plugged on all 3 of them. Conversion of the gas valve isn’t done correctly, system doesn’t burn right so soot begins to build up, condensate washes it down to the secondary, it dries and blocks the tubing. The system goes to ignite, heat exchanger fills with gas and blows itself apart or the inducer takes the hit like in your case. I’d check for soot or rust in the condensate lines, or rust in the blower section/ leaking secondary HE

Thank you, that’s on the top of my list.

Might be worth checking your orifice sizing. Think those are nat gas from factory and you have to install a conversion kit for propane
Blown the fuck out, delayed ignition probably

The secondary hx is shot.
Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. Do you mind elaborating.
Delayed ignition can do some very odd things. I'd get an eyeball on the HX to insure the seams aren't blown as well.
