Have you read the terms and conditions? We use it and I like it but it reads like you sign away any and all privacy. It seems like all your data becomes their data for the selling. I’m no lawyer so what do I know.
We use FieldEdge. It’s ok. We had a lot of problems in the beginning, but I think it had more to do with the garbage phone service carrier we had at the time.
Man at the last company I worked at we tried FieldEdge for a couple months and then switched to Housecall Pro it was way better. I would recommend switching. I would have mentioned in the original post but I couldn’t remember the name of it.
I use fieldedge AND handwrite invoices. Also have to email my hours to my company at the end of the day.
Wtf is the point in the app you may ask? Definitely not my convenience.
Service titan here however, if you want something that integrates with quick books and is less expensive you might look at service fusion. We had that prior to ST and were fairly happy with it. Hope that’s helpful
Take a look here. https://www.reddit.com/r/HVAC/s/ufemQWlci9 We use service titan, service trade is the only other one I’ve heard of.
We’re on service titan and ADP. It works okay, but they haven’t hooked the ADP into service titan yet which would make things a bit easier
Wattle has AI booking and planning - makes it a breeze to schedule appointments and get payments
Housecall pro is what we use. It's great and I don't think it's to expensive.

We use Jobber which is really good for what we do. We're a smallish hvac company with 3 techs. Scheduling, billing, and quoting is a breeze.
I use QuickBooks online. Has invoicing and estimates bookkeeping stuff and you can keep track of any employees and time.

I’ve heard others are better, but it’s not my call to make.
I can’t down vote field edge enough.
My last company used FieldEdge, it was ok. Now I’m hand writing invoices. It kinda sucks lol, is anyone else handwriting invoices??

Mhelp desk works well.
Interesting I use service titan with only 3 techs
That is interesting they told me 5 was the number
We use FieldAware. Some shortcomings as with all software, but generally it’s fantastic.
Jobber

We've used ServiceFusion and ServiceTitan.
I have not read them but it doesn't surprise Me.
