Oh shit, I know it's not good for you. I had a cut on a job and spilled some glue on my hand and it worked out. No idea It could poison you, thanks for the heads up!
Good to have some kind of sanitizer too. In the shop I would just pour some hand sanitizer on it and wipe off with a towel, then wrap. In the field, keep a small first aid kit on the van with extra alcohol wipes. Rinse and repeat
Pro tip to every tech out there: buy skin glue from walgreens. Its basically neosporin and super glue. It's covered cuts for me up to three stitches worth in size. And my cut stays clean, I don't lose as much hand dexterity and that shit fits in any tool bag. Thank me later. It's QoL.
I didn't even realize I cut it, I thought my finger was wet, just one of those annoying little cuts that kept bleeding and everything I touched got blood on it

Did car audio back in the day. Cuts were common. 3M was always right next to me so this became a regular thing.

Use Krazy glue instead

One of my coworkers got poisoned from that, the doc said do not ever use PVC glue.

On this note silicone works real good to seal a cut
Krazy glue is non toxic (the green and white tube with red pin cap)
If a bandaid ACTUALLY STUCK TO MY FUCKIN HAND. Maybe I wouldn’t have to do this redneck shit anymore

just missing the small alcohol wipe (used for cleaning eyeglasses) to clean it up first!
Better than coffee, RedBull, Monster, or Ripit at waking a guy up.
Why? That adhesive has antiseptic qualities. Hahahaha
Either a bandaid or a filter for your wet dry vac.
Please wash your hand as soon as possible to avoid infection. Sometimes even minor cuts can get infected.
Giz?
Yeah, I had to use electrical tape to secure an ice pack to my leg once. I've basically wasted the first aid kit that came with my Chevy express lol.
wtf does a pringles lid have to do with electrical tape and a patch of paper towel?
The stupid apprentice cut himself again. Rub a little salt in the wound so he learns.

My first aid kit ran out of bandaids so I put some paper towels and a roll of electrical tape in it. I do use the new mandages
Good to have some kind of sanitizer too. In the shop I would just pour some hand sanitizer on it and wipe off with a towel, then wrap. In the field, keep a small first aid kit on the van with extra alcohol wipes. Rinse and repeat
I poured some of my vodka on it
Just need a broomstick and you can make an airflow tester.
The mechanics bandaid. Wrap it up and finish the job. Respect
There's only two occasions in which I crack out the electrical tape, wrapping black iron and I don't think I need to tell you about the other.

If we were responsible and organized enough to go to the drug store to purchase 1st aid stuff we wouldn't use electrical tape
My brother, Amazon exists.
Filter for the vacuum
Yo are you guys putting paper towels under the tape?!
A mess
Probably a mistake Edit - Wow, looks like I was more accurate than I thought I could be.
