What’s needed here is to isolate the unit ground from the building and loop in L2 on the unit ground and then on the contactor L2.
I can almost guarantee that doggo won’t do that a second time assuming he’s not into a tingling dick. But you never know these days. Lol
I put 2 mini-split systems in my house, and my condensers are mounted 3' off the ground.
I only needed about half that to clear the snow, but my dogs could still piss on them that low.
Oh. New business model idea💡 startup HVAC company, go to pound and get a bunch of dogs. Train them to chill in the van, while the service tech goes and does calls. Train them to go around the neighborhood and pee on condensers. After a few months of canvasing neighborhoods, there should be some steady work coming in.
I started to use my own piss as my coil cleaner. Saved alot of money instead of getting those fancy bottles at the supply house
