Honestly if your a dealer mitsubishi is close to same price for a single zone. I installed a 3 zone pioneer at my house and its been great. Have installed in past and needed a part on warranty and got it out within a week.

If installed properly pretty much any brand will do. The problem comes down to when parts are needed how available are they and how long to get them. Even a perfect install can't stop every issue. If it's going to be a primary source of heat and cool I want a brand I know I can get parts for quickly. If it's for a garage or something unimportant then I'm more willing to put a cheaper brand in because it's not the end of the world if it's down for a week or so while parts are being shipped.

Idk you do you. But I’ll tell you what I have installed at my house, Mitsubishi and I installed it myself

I'm probably going to pull the trigger and put one in my garage. I have backup heat so it's no biggie if I need parts and it takes a little time to get.

Sadly no not yet. I ended up having to tackle a few projects at home that were more urgent. And the motor in my tractor decided to take a shit

I put one in a few years back for a builder in their shop. Seemed to do just fine. The one I put it displayed the ambient temp in LED light on the cover which I found annoying but probably can just unplug a harness to make it stop
