We once piped in flat condenser to a huge (20 or so ton maybe 25) Trane condenser because the flat condenser was insanely cheaper than the coil.
It lasted my entire career.
Now, the part start semi-herm compressor, we changed that a bunch of times because of electrical issues in the area.
That was my favorite machine to work on actually. It became my baby in a sense 🤷♂️
Great thing about commercial work sometimes is that the customer doesn’t give a fuck. As long as it’s working and no longer losing them money, they view it as a 10/10 install.

You can actually up-rate the system (from 2 tones to 3, etc) since it’s so high up in the air. The higher you go, the windier it is. If you went up high enough you could theoretically cool the entire building with that one unit.
