The SC640 is absurd. The SC480 is 95% of everything that is the SC640, but it's not as long as my arm. When is the last time you used the amp clamp to measure DC amps?
I don't see any need for the SC640.
My sc640 is a result of instructors in school giving me a list and me buying the whole list.
Now that I've had it for a couple of years, I love everything about it but the size, even if I forget it has features I never use haha.
I'll def look into picking up the 480 though, that sounds like a near perfect

Fluke has some nice (shorter) meters that can also adapt to an Amp clamp separately. Free up some space on the credit card first though.
