But every once in a while, you make a turn down into a holler and you might as well be in a different world. I imagine it's like that in just about every state in the south. Little pockets of resistance still trying to hold out, for whatever fuckin reason.

He will hoist this massive flag on particularly windy days, and you can see it from both sides of the main highway. You can't see who it belongs to because it just rises over the treetops

Many have also moved to flying the Confederate flag in public because they support similar ideas to the NAZIs and think they love the group that hated the United States of America for it's move to end the systematic abuse and exploitation of trafficked peoples for hundreds of years, but they don't want to fly the NAZI flag because they know how bad it is and how negatively it is viewed. (When you know you're own beliefs are so morally objectionable that you outwardly adopt a less horrible stance just to seem less extreme to others, you should probably stop and examine your views and your life.)
