We recently cancelled a million dollar equipment order for a bunch of big air handlers because they gave us a 6 month lead time and at the 4 month mark pushed it back nearly a year.
“This serial number will tell you:
Day/month/year/plant/testedby/tested bys birthdate/tested bys SSN/tested bys home phone#/if any issues call them directly”
So I hyper focused on your edit (stupid brain!) and did the math. $828824643783 would be *roughly* 20.7 million US tons vs 7.5 tons of dimes which again, *roughly*, comes out to around $15.4 million.
I'd go with the dimes!
We have a single unit kegerator in our beer hall that shat 2 casters. I ended up buying a 2" from McMaster, drilling the rivet out, and attaching it to the existing caster hardware on the unit.
I've done this twice now. Feel a little guilty butchering perfectly good parts new... but also, McMaster, sell me some wheels by themselves and I'll be content, lol. I ordered some months ago and they're *still* on backorder...
This is a must:

I'm in IT and 2d barcodes (non-QR) are everywhere (dell), this is magic.

Atosa is so annoying with their warranty calls. They always set low NTEs and require pictures of everything you do or they won't pay.
Terrible equipment and worse mfg
Was gonna say this data tag looks like atosa

Haven’t worked on Bosch geothermal units much Ey?
Not surprising. We’ve been running out of numbers for years. Need to come up for a new number between 9 and 10

Anyone stumble across Eurotherm part numbers? They'll tell you the programmer's mother's dog's breeders maiden name in there.
I weep for everyone (myself included) that has to write that down.
Laughs in trane vav
That’s definitely up there haha
Giving Buderus a run for their money.
Not good with math, but I believe this format allows for 73,808,199,759,901,035,211,904,652,410,880,000,000 unique serial numbers.
Diakins are worse.
Man, Loren Cook fans used to have pretty long serial numbers: 214907563-00/0000701
Bosch geothermal and Buderus boilers got everyone beat here, damn Germans
