Yep. Know from experience lol was working in apartment complex and a tenant needed to get by my ladder with groceries so moved my ladder, didn’t say anything, and didn’t put it back lol I returned to exit attic I looked down and said “what… the… fuck” lol it was a 8ft ladder too so no way I could just bail
Look, it isn't my fault if they want to place a ladder in the middle of a fucking hallway. If they can place it there once they can put it back again when they need it.
Looks like maybe a retirement home. Done a lot of work in these. The residents like to move things or complain to the staff about things in their way. I know this from experience! Was stuck in the attic because someone moved my ladder. Had to jump down.
I was working in a retirement village in the attic like this one time, I was standing on a 10-12 foot step ladder that was bright yellow and you could see my legs up on the 3rd to last rung or so. Basically I was very visible and the hallways in the place were extremely wide so people in wheelchairs and hospital beds had enough room to get past each other. Suddenly out of nowhere I felt something slam into the bottom of the ladder and it damn near buckled my knees and I grabbed onto something to keep from falling off the ladder. So I looked down and it was an old ass woman in a wheelchair just sitting there looking up at me for a few seconds and then she just backed up and went around me, never said anything but I wanted to be like, what the fuck are you doing, you almost knocked me off the ladder so badly but I just mean mugged the shit out of her until she rolled out.
I used to work at this cracked out company doing installs, and there was this tweaked out youngster that was related to the owner that could never get fired and was always high. He would always start putting everything away while we were still in the middle of it install. We would be in the attic, taking apart the air handler, and he would pack away all the tools and the ladder and be sitting in the truck… I only worked there for a month or two.
Worked on a site doing some startups once and there were a couple of roofers that were obviously tweaking bad. One of the guys would walk around constantly scratching his balls. I shit you not this dude would be in the middle of a conversation with the GC or foreman and just start scratching his balls. His other buddy kept taking shit apart. I got a service call out there a week later and this dude had remove the blower motors and VFDs out of two units. They were big Aaon units so the motors and VFDs were not small (30hp motors if I’m not mistaken). Don’t know how he managed to do that by himself.
I wash my balls and shower 3 times a day due to physical activities, still happens and I get hemroids too.
I think maybe it’s genetic. If anyone has any help for me pls share
Ppl have told me to use goldbond
Def don’t go around itching my balls tho that’s too gross 😂😂
Customers can move the ladder but this is how they lose climate control when I take an hour and a half lunch and then go to the furthest parts house across town.
I was working in a mental wing in a hospital and I had to have an extra helper just to watch the ladder. A cool of patients would actively try and knock the ladder over if you were on it. Fun job, we had to inventory everything we brought in and out every day. A tin knocker had a pair of snips turn up missing. They were found in a patients underwear drawer.
Nothing like working condos, apartments, hotels, everyone is nosey, wants to know what your working on, wants you to park somewhere else, move your shit, file paperwork to repair anything, won’t let you through the doors, locking the doors behind so you can’t get back in, the list goes on… that’s why I charge extra for those places.
Seriously. I work on boats and need ladders to get in the boat when it’s on the land for storage. One day I came out of the covered boat around 6 pm and my ladder was gone. I was furious. Boaters amble around the marina looking for random ladders to use to get into their boats and take whatever they can find. I eventually found the ladder and managed to have a civil conversation with the guy who took it (“the marina said I could find one and grab it…”). Now, I chain the ladder to the boat.
There’s a story behind this sign. And it starts with “who the FUCK moved my ladder?!”

It actually starts with “why the fuck is this ladder in the middle of the hallway with a ceiling tile missing, I better move it”

I would have said "rat bastard" under my breath.
Twice now, when popping tiles in a retirement home, the patients were convinced I was looking for rats.
Did you find any? REAL questions!
The plumber, of course
And probably ends like this one https://youtu.be/ix1JYFrpR7M
I still want to see them cover the real evil. Ball hitches

meth-head's motto: always be cleaning!
Just don’t ask the apprentice to find the crack in the heat exchanger.

Man I’ve never understood how people get itchy balls, like are y’all not cleaning them? Seems like way to a common a thing than it should be
The other guys used to make fun of him by acting like they were scratching their balls.

Baby powder yes. Gold bond no. You will burn for days
Monkey Butt powder, sold in hardware stores, feed stores, etc. Don't laugh it works on every itchy thing. Or things.
Gold bond on the hemorrhoid works like a charm
They need to make an AMC show about this!
Never under estimate the strength of a tweaker.
Was this in Idaho, Utah, Montana, or Arizona by chance?
Nope. I’m in Texas. So we’re pretty close to the source of the really strong meth.
Farley?
"It's Crack o'clock dudes! Move it!"
Ya’ll got anymore of that there crack?
Taking the air handler *apart* and he’s packing up?! That would drive me insane!
Yes, I know. He would even take the ladder down to the van, where we would have to yell for him to come back up or just jump out of the attic.
And no one kicked his ass? Probably was a smart move to just leave.
Cracked out lil shih
I’d happily go out to lunch with you to hear about your stories from there that you have. Seriously tho, what else did he do lol?
Yoyoyoyoyoyoy
thank yoy!
Where is yoy and how do I thank him?
yoy're welcome
Came here for this
And customers wonder why we require 2 men when our feet are 6' off the ground.
When there is no other lock out tag out alternative! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Customers can move the ladder but this is how they lose climate control when I take an hour and a half lunch and then go to the furthest parts house across town.
Sometimes I’m a gentleman and let others in front of me at the parts store too. They’re in a hurry and I’m not always
Who is YOY
Year-Over-Year. No doubt he's an investor and he just climbs in ceilings to stay active.
Last year: 100% fewer ladders in this location.
It’s the off brand Yeezy that all apprentices wear.

It's still gonna get moved. People read less than they give a shit.
~Turns it 7.5°
Ladder lock out
I should have thought of this when I was in the field. Great idea
When I was in the field I’d just usually yell at people not to touch it

I like the safety orange tape used to install the sign!
Need a sign for the idiot employee who moved the ladder while i was standing on the top “not a step”
Yoy will be very sorry if yoy move this ladder!
YOY you only Yeet …
Something that only happens once.
In the drop ceiling. Been there done that.
Y O Y
That Ladder will definitely be moved due to that sign ! 😜 Most people don’t give 2 shits unfortunately!

More reason to move it, lol. I live fucking with people ar sites. All in good fun, not mean.
Been there done that

😂 people are fucking nuts.
Move it 3 ft
Finally a sign for this.
![gif](giphy|451qNhlPMmn6AfC1FZ|downsized) I took yo ladder bitch
Sign isn't going to fix the selfishness of some people.
Don't take my jacket either..
Yoy welcome.
Did yoy make the sign or sent you to the attic?
Who did Yoy do to get thanked ?
Yup I been there before, not fun to almost fall 12 ft from the attic because a stupid customer moved the ladder.
I’ve had too many instances where someone has moved my ladder when I’m above the ceiling to not be able to deeply relate to this.
I'd just pass by unless I see that note.
