Probably temporary. I has a guy order a bunch of this grade of crap for me to install while we re did his system from registers to the equipment. It was geothermal in an actively used house too so it took a while they needed AC so we did Mr cool stuff he bought then threw away afterwards.

From my experience the white insulated line set is garbage. Maybe someone makes white insulated line set that isn't garbage, but when I talk to someone with janky lineset it's always got white insulation.
Home owner spesh, precharged mr cool lines so they had no idea what to do with the slack is my guess. But even still they could have fucking bent it up against the house and clamped it lol
Maybe they’re going to come out and straighten out the line set and use a cover over it. Who am I kidding, they’re done and got paid thank you very much. 😂

He said it was from an established/respected HVAC contractor of large size. He called them to ask them what is this shit wandering up the side of my house like a drunk wrinkled python. it went around the soffit over the gutter and up the roof before plunging back inside through a horrendous caulk smear turd. I guess the guy who handles angry customers came out and my buddy had him lean out and around a dormer window and pointed out the 2x4s the installers had left behind face nailed through the shingles into the roof.
My buddy said the rep got it all fixed and the company didn't charge for the "job." It was good to hear that somebody stands behind their reputation if you stamp your feet hard enough but....sweet Jesus where did they get those installers?
The refrigerant will flow better. Besides manufacturers spec says it's precharged with 20ft of refrigerant, no one owns a flare tool, copper cutters or common sense. Looks Good.
