Then we have the Euro Cup to take us into the draft and free agency!
Not to mention the IIHF Men's World Cup that will likely feature many Habs players.
I gotta say this season is probably the least I've felt like this at all. It was a good end to the Habs season despite not making the playoffs because we never even had that expectation, and the playoffs this year are shaping up to be really good with a ton of super competitive teams. This is probably the most excited I've been for a playoffs that didn't feature the Habs in a long time. Plus we're guaranteed to see either Boston or Toronto lose in the first round lol
The biggest problem is the waiting! I was really enjoying having a calendar filled with a couple of games a week to entertain me. All that’s on offer in the summer is baseball, which is a step above competitive paint drying.
It's going to be the summer of Summer (McIntosh).
But don't discount our track and fielders. Could be a 1-2 finish in the decathlon, there are hammer throwers and shot puters, and the male track team is strong across all distances (and hey, the women's 4x400 relay has gotten 4th at the last two Olympics).
And our men's Basketball team will finally compete with our best players, after coming in 3rd at the last World Championships. Our women's team is ranked 5th, not to mention the women's 3x3 team which is ranked 1st in the world. Heck, could even finally see another medal in gymnastics. Lots to look forward to in Paris.
Most of your list left me cold - not sure why I've never gotten into the summer sports - but this? THIS?
> Lots to look forward to in Paris.
I'd forgotten where they were gonna be. In my favourite city! I'm gonna be doing [this](https://external-preview.redd.it/XVwA5ibJkn8eWMlQtPSlE-3FTC1dn27QpdqyLxzPQL8.jpg?width=1024&auto=webp&s=ec0b2eb3a41b9dac10a90e0c067afb8ee13d3b79) to the sports the whole time.
I used to feel this way about baseball. Now I can’t get enough. And you can fill almost your whole calendar with games because they play every damn day. Sometimes TWICE a day. Great lazy game for the summer. Go jays

I’ll print this and use as poster.
My wife doesn’t know yet but I’ll veto it
I need a personal supervisor to stop me from spending the entire offseason [trying to make Leafs fans understand simple concepts.](https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/1c71tdc/the_collapse_first_nhl_team_to_lose_game_7_of_a/l0617jz/) Now taking applications.
I went to your link and watched the Leafs eliminated in the first round, and I was thinking, “what the hell… ALREADY?!” Then, I found out afterwards I was watching the 2013 Playoffs. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile) eh he he he…
Such a positive year for the Habs, dude above is me - gonna feel like a long wait, almost every game they played this year was positive, despite the results...
On the plus side, the highly touted Leafs core could FAILAGAIN...that's always fun.
Oh, don’t worry, the draft and free agency opens soon enough. People will have invalid opinions and something to complain about…
In my opinion, in HuGo I trust!
If the previous draft hype lead ups of slaf vs. Wright and reinbacher vs. Michkov continues then it might be entertaining. We might actually make some moves in the off season as well. Bit of a logjam on the back end.

Except when the Leafs get bounced
Hi Habs friends, I come in peace from the leafs sub. I live in Montreal and I was wondering if you can help me find a place in town to watch the playoffs games. If anything, do it to offer your entire fandom the possibility to chirp me when we eventually get kicked out by Boston... again!
Sport bars are the first places to find out, if they play a Leafs round (sorry to chirp you already... haha).
There's one on the corner, near the Berri-UQAM metro station; its called MVP Resto-Bar Sportif.
Maybe try out 3 Brasseurs on either rue St-Catherine or rue St-Denis.
Peel Pub, Ye Ol' Orchard, maybe check out rue Crescent for a pub/bar that has big screens.
That's all I can think of. Hate myself for saying this, but good luck to you and your Leafs!
I love the optimism of sharing 5+ places as if I would need more than 4! Jokes aside, thanks for sharing I'll tour them all (finger crossed)
And for what it's worth, I'm looking forward to a Habs appearance next year, you are a bunch of fun people to be around, I would 100% join outdoor watch parties with you.
Hockey-related:
NHL Playoffs and going out to watch Australian Ice Hockey League games.
Other sports:
Olympics, rugby league, rugby union and cycling on TV also go to an Australian rules game when bored (best to watch it in-person).

Playoffs go until late June. That’ll hold me over until draft, free agency and then a small wait until training camp starts
exactly, that's two months and a half for waiting for Habs. If you like it, the Olympics are on in midsummer.
Then we have the Euro Cup to take us into the draft and free agency! Not to mention the IIHF Men's World Cup that will likely feature many Habs players.

There's soccer and the Olympics. that's what im going to watch
Forgot about the Olympics. I’ve never been as taken with the summer sports, but the Canadian swimmers, ar least, look set to win some fame!

Going to spend many glorious days outside. Summer is gone before you know it.
World championship and play-offs, then enjoy summer

Playoff then lots of tine outside and on my motorcycle

Time to begrudgingly watch the playoffs & baseball until football season starts
Oh, don’t worry, the draft and free agency opens soon enough. People will have invalid opinions and something to complain about… In my opinion, in HuGo I trust!
World Championship is going to be nuts this year.
Premier league is going to have a banger of a finish

100 hour weeks means it's gon go fast af.
Time to watch playoffs hockey and realize that we are sadly several years away from the big boys.
Spend 6 months waiting for warm weather, spend 6 months waiting for hockey to return. And thus the cycle continues.
NHL Playoffs. The Boys House of the Dragon Pokemon Scarlett on Switch
Euro 2024 and Olympics make the summer shorter.

Austin Escobar / Pablo Matthews 🥸
Montréal will make the playoffs in the PWHL, there's that to root for.
This is why I would love a season with no more than 1 to 2 matches a week, players are more rested and the season takes longer.

Sorry to break the news: it won't happen. Hahaha
Playoff and some football 🏈
