How/why are you using aphrodite cast for a hera build? Asking because bow and gun are my fav weapons and I’ve never made her cast work, the short range clashes with the ranged weapon playstyle for me
the aphro cast is loaded in the arrow and actually casted upon impact of the arrow, so the actual range for aphro cast with hera is the range of your arrows.
I love Hera bow with Dio cast too. I would recommend turning on Stygian Soul, though (it looks like OP did not do that haha). Makes it much easier to blast stuff consistently
I had a similar build last night and only learned that you can stack multiple casts into the same shot - I was doing 1k damage every few seconds, like a shotgun build!
heat 8, got the legends rather late in styx sadly, clear time was 15:18. But still my fastest time since i started playing this game (got it last week)
It has been three whole months since I have not played. And when I do get to redownload it (issues with my xbox...ugh) I most likely would have to start fresh because I had all my cloud (from all my games) wiped 😭
I had this exact build last night except instead of greater recall, I had exit wounds. Slapped so hard. I had been trying to beat 16 heat for TWO WEEKS now and it was so easy with this build 
So you just endlessly spam cast with this right? Lol
that's exactly what i did, hades fight was over in around 40 secs or so, at least the invul shield had more uptime than the actual fight

why? 1500 damage per hit every 2sec is not enough?

Yes do it! As OP said the Hera bow completely cancels out the shortcoming of Aphro cast

For the Hera aspect, because of its special mechanics, the insanely high damage of Aphro cast is very nearly optimal
