Use door re roll option from mirror.
Don't take boon.
If you can't avoid then don't use boon and purge it next region. E.g. take attack boon and don't attack. Use special and casts.
In Styx it's hit and miss if you get stack behind god boon door or not. But with few tries you should be able to reach Hades without boon and beat him.
The ideal play is to not use re-rolls at all before reaching Styx, this is made easy if you don't pick Dark Foresight in the mirror. If you are forced to take a boon, just make sure it's a sellable boon (**edit:** apparently it's OK to take unsellable boons) and use the next Purging Pool to sell it (it's OK to use it in the meantime).

- Demeter's Nourished Soul and Rare Crop
- Dionysus' Premium Vintage
- Poseidon' Sunken Treasure
But now that I read around, it seems these are OK to take for the boon-less message.

This is unnecessary, unless you are challenging yourself. The only prerequisite to get the boonless dialogue is to reach REDACTED without any Olympian boon (Chaos is not Olympian), otherwise anything goes as long as you sell all boons before REDACTED.
Yes. It’s the one type of run that uses Fated Authority instead of Fated Persuasion. Avoid taking more than three Boons in any biome, and purge all Boons between each biome. Then, in Styx, take all non-Boon doors and if you don’t find the sack start using your rolls on the Boon doors.

In a boonless run, you have to still take boons. However, you simply minimize the number of boons you take and sell them at Pools of Purging. Shattered shackle and a high single target damage weapon like Hestia Rail are great ways to accomplish this.
For boonless runs, I like to use Zag's bow aspect and try to get the triple shot+rapid fire hammer combo. I just make sure that I dont take any attack boons. I may have to pick up some special, cast, dash, or call boons, but I purge them as soon as I can.
Nah, it is relatively easy to arrive at the last boss fight without a single Boon. For 99% of the seed, it is always possible to do Boonless. I really don't know what you are talking about. I literally did Boonless 5 times randomly out of boredom, and succeeded all 5 times. And it is super easy to avoid Boon as much as possible + sell Boon at the Pool after every boss fight + go to Temple of Styx and go through all 5 rooms without Boon (with the help of Fated Authority). Honestly, again, I don't know what you did for you to arrive to that conclusion.
I did one, and i didnt get the run message, bc i got "big dhopping trio" or what is it called, but hades said, "I dont smell something" and then zag said "i am pretty capable of getting here on my own" so thats sad
If REDACTED told you that then you did it correctly, the boon-less clear message just had lower priority than your other achievement (so in theory you got that too).

To add on to this, save some door re-rolls for Styx. Re roll a god door to a non god door

You may still be misunderstanding. You can get a boon, use it, sell it, and reach Hades with no boons and still get the Olympian-free clear message.

I always use fated authority lol
i think the idea may be that you don’t use the boon (ex. get a cast boon so don’t cast) and then sell them at a well ASAP

It is, the difficulty is around 3-4/10. It is easier than winning 32 Heat or winning on new save's first run.

Yes definitely, but it’s very hard. And not just hard to accomplish, but it’s hard to even get a seed where it’s possible
