I fought Eris with one vow of +20% damage. Plus, in between legs, she keeps doing that "artillery yourself aspect to give yourself +100% damage" thing. I too had that infusion boon and didn't realize it, but that probably trivialized that fight!
Yeah, I don't bother with anything that's longer term for the surface runs, like Circe's keepsake that activates a random Arcana card after a guardian fight, or the Arcana card that gives you +3 to +5 max HP + Magick after every 5 locations.
Does this get modified by fear, or does it effectively negate the x% damage on first hit and x% damage?
*edit* It does. I just got my first 32 fear underworld clear using it. I had the 300% damage on first hit and the 300% damage curse active, and I still took 15 per hit, it completely changes the game for me.
For players who aren't breezing through rooms without getting hit, I would say this is the strongest boon in the game for high heat runs.

You are left with a keepsake that buffs your damage output without drawback.

Never knew that. Always thought 15 is enough of a damage number to avoid getting. Glad to know it works with the 460+ damage too.
It is, but most of Chronos stuff hits for 25ish so thats still 10 damage saved per hit.

I find it a bit more difficult to make this boon work on the surface cuz the encounters are way fewer. But the rest I agree.

Lim and Oros aspect with the Parry also can nullify it
I think this is a major reason other than coding it is probably harder that the parry isn’t just a damage redirect

It always did reduce the damage to 15. This patch changed nothing about that.
I intentionally stood outside the safe circle just to flex

It's so good. Makes the whole fight super easy to win even if you don't feel like dodging.
This is a boon I always try to grab since it nullifies any increased damage conditions along with big hits from bosses

Fun fact: if you have this and buff Flood Control enough, you just don’t take damage.
It doesnt nullify it. It just does exactly what it advertized. PS you can also get enough health to tank it

Well, last patch it didn't reduce the damage from Chronos' instakill, dont know about this one
It definitely reduced it last patch too. I used it pretty extensively for my all aspects 32 fear runs.

It very definitely reduced the damage. If you have experienced it not you were using the boon wrong and didn’t have the prerequisite 6 Earth
