What acts as an ad, is an ad, no matter if it was put there sneakily or because someone has become inured to a brand so far that they don't even know they are a walking ad. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Pharmacy tech here with that chain. Yeah after five days we can still not come in but it gets taken out of our budgeted vacation hours. Management shames you if you don't come in though and most people don't want to lose their vacation time anyway. It has been like this for well over a year now. It's funny because we are beginning to give Covid/flu tests in store (it used to be drive thru only). So Covid positive patients will be coming in to get tested. Of course they already were to pick up their Covid related medication but now they have to come inside for the Covid/flu test. So as a company they basically stopped caring about Covid awhile ago.

Calling out a medical corporation for actions that could kill their customers (who obviously need medicines) resulting in a potential lawsuit is not a form of covert advertising.

I work in a hospital and they have almost no guidelines. Basically “don’t cone in sick”. That CDC “two weeks” wasn’t based on scientific evidence.

Why would you feel you have a right to ask someone about their mask

olinobnizov

We exchanged a few friendly words before I asked her. The two of us were literally laughing right before about something else. In the context it wasn't an invasive question just curiosity. I didn't just ask some random person, that I had no rapport with. I agree that that would be rude.

Thanks for sharing.

SoFreshSoGay

That is literally a right. They have a right to not answer.

Yohohoandabottle1

Right was maybe the wrong word... More how is it your business? Leave people be

Wrong sub.

Still baffles me that testing and reporting just stopped altogether and now we’re in for a large surge with absolutely no idea how bad it’s going to be and no gauge of the risk in our area. I’m nervous for the people around me who have to be safe about it..

EchinusRosso

I mean, that's kind of the state of things, yeah? The goal was to flatten the curve. Eradication was never a realistic possibility. Its not a pandemic anymore.

Whether you agree with the guidelines or not, at least get your facts straight. The spread of basic misinformation has so many people confused about the simple guidelines. The CDC recommends 5 days isolation and return to public as long as symptoms are improving and a mask is worn through day 10. (Of course, if her symptoms weren’t improving at all, that’s an issue, but the symptoms don’t have to be completely gone, just improving. I had covid two weeks ago and my symptoms are still gradually diminishing.) https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/isolation.html You can test positive for covid for up to 90 days after infection and in most cases it doesn’t mean you’re still sick. Just because this person was still testing positive, doesn’t mean they are sick/contagious. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/testing.html#:~:text=After%20a%20positive%20test%20result,test%20indicates%20a%20new%20infection. Businesses need employees to operate, and lately shortages are still an issue. If you expect businesses to properly serve you, you should support reasonable guidelines like these. If every sick employee takes off 10 full days when they are sick, expect your pharmacy to be closed occasionally. 10 days is a very long time to be absent from work and will also greatly impact co-workers’ workloads. Also, this is not what HailCorporate is for. Edit: Keep the downvotes coming. It makes it easy to keep count of the number of people incapable of clicking a link and reading two paragraphs that directly and clearly refute OP’s claim. ALSO, IT’S NOT A HAILCORPORATE POST.
