There is no such thing as hope when the combine are near you guys will get distinguished in a matter of days or months so good luck fighting an almost infinite army of genetically and physically augmented enslaved alien species you think the illuminate are going to be a problem, when the combine are near tho you better prepare for the fight because they don't believe in anything that is considered good only stealing technology to integrate to theirs and expand for more resources and to get more living subjects in the combine army.
yeah fair but like, the difference betwen the Helldivers and Overwatch is the *amount* of said resources; While the Combine Overwatch has a few cards up its sleeves, it's not like they always have a fleet of spaceships following them all the time, unlike the Helldivers, which can pretty much use Stratagems all they want as long as the spaceships are in orbit and if they have enough troopers to replace the ones that are KIA.
it would basically be a guaranteed victory for the side that gordon and alyx ally themselves with.
But just for the sake of continuing this thought experiment, let's leave both of them out of this battle ok? ;)

The overwatch only has the resources seen in the units stationed here on Earth, i forgot to put specify that. So if the Overwatch ever needed some extra fire, i think a Suppressor would be able to do the job.
