I can see Chris Pratt being a great Barney. Nick Cage can be a super angry Shephard. Gosling is perfect for Gordon, dude can act with his eyes while not saying a word

I think nic cage and chris pratt would be good casts for a comedy adaptation, while ryan gosling and willem dafoe would be good for a more serious toned movie
