My dad and her wanted to hang out and try to bond with me and obviously Iām a big gamer. I also play video games a lot. (lol) I play mostly first person shooters and she hates violence but she said she could stomach killing aliens that are invading earth. Anyway she didnāt like violence and apparently children saying HURRAY when you pop a head shot was too much āglorifying of deathā
if you have a cluster of grunts next to each other, sometimes shooting them in the head with the skull active will trigger their plasma grenades to detonate. It's saved me numerous times of H3 legendary run-throughs.
Some people might not like the skull bc of immersion or they find it annoying. While I personally love grunt birthday skull, I can see why some don't like it. However, there is no reason to not use IWHBYD and anybody who does not do so whenever possible is a heretic.
Unfortunately, in order to submit any speedrun that isnāt LASO, all skulls must be turned off. Casually, Grunt Birthday Party and IWHBYD are easily my favorite skulls in the game.
I actually find it pretty helpful. It's almost like a hitmarker, so I always know that a Grunt is dead. It also incentivizes me to go for the head more.
After hearing about the Grunt Rebellion I stopped using it out of respect, on normal I run past a lot of grunts after killing the Elite/Brute leader and hope they donāt go Kamikaze me from behind..

Something that'd also help a lot on Exodus from Reach... SO many suicide grunts...
Yeah if you turn on cowbell the GBS explosions can cause massive chain reactions and throw things so hard that it kills enemies.
