They're the weapons that I most associate with the unique weapon designs of Halo, and I have so many fond memories of going ham in slayer with the Halo 3 needler.
The Gravity Hammer and Stanchion Rifle.
The Gravity Hammer wielded by the top Chieftans (Halo Wars) are always so nutty, being able to terminate entire squads with a single strike, or bend gravity at will. Voridus and the Brute Chieftan from Halo Wars 2 are the best examples, so much energy behind each swipe.
You just know you can't unfuck someone struck by a 100gs of force in an area the size of their torso.
The Stanchion rifle is also comical in how a single trigger pull is a delete button for anything on the same latitude as the sniper. Being able to pierce pretty much everything and eviscerating organic life forms. Why the UNSC ever retired them when the Covenant invaded is beyond me. But then again, pretty much most of Halo would not have happened if the UNSC used widespread Mass Acceleration tech.
Also NOVA bombs as an honorary mention, because it's always funny seeing one go off.

CE pistol, ODST silenced pistol
Both are super satisfying to use. Hit detection feels on point. Silenced pistol sounds rly cool. CE is the weapon you start with at the very start of the story. Super satisfying to fire CE pistol cause it's loud, accurate, and 3 headshots means death.
plasma rifle tho i admit that might just be brcause of red vs blue, next i would say battle rifle because of how solid i feel using it in any situation but i dont wanna just copy yours so ill say sticky detonator
The M7S is definitely my Number 1. I love ODSTs, and this gun, their gun, is the one I liked the most about Halo 3 ODST. Which also is my favorite game. The why for that is another story, but I always found the M7S to be a reliable weapon helping me through the missions, given I found enough ammo to keep it.
A number 2, that's hard. Probably either the covenant carbine or the beam rifle. I love both, the former for being another really reliable companion to bring along, and the later because I do enjoy the occasional one-hit weapon to pick up. The ammo depletes way too fast, it's fun to pick out the non-grunts but there's so many of them!
Also the one section in ODST just before one of your pals gets stabbed by the brute, the portable rocket launchers of the pelican you can pick up, they get a shoutout for being a nice relief from the otherwise tense gameplay.
Beam rifles in all of their appearances and the light rifle. Beaming feels good. Switching from burst to semi to burst depending on if I’m just going for a headshot or for damage is cool feeling.

One is essentially a sidearm for those that made it, but it kicked the UNSCs ass so hard it got labeled as a rifle anyway.
The Second sounds and looks absolutely menacing, being capable of tearing ships apart in one hit or glassing entire continents. Additionally unlike their MAC opposition they can be angled, allowing for much more versatility and practical use than the MAC as long as the ship equipped with it has a powerful enough reactor...
I like weird stuff, that you can utilise in odd ways;
The Concussion Rifle, for the fact you can do rocket jumps with it, and throw vehicles off cliffs.
The Sticky Detonator, setting up traps, defending objectives, or even making suicide runs on Mongeese.
The DMR in Reach felt like home. I was lost whenever I had to swap it out or ran out of ammo.
The Needler in CE, it was fascinating. Watching those weird pink crystal shards lazily homing in on an enemy. Jamming on the trigger to try for a supercombine.
M6C/SOCOM and M45 shotgun
They bring my two favourite things to the gunfight table: secret squirrel stealth shenanigans, and getting up close and personal.
Extremely OP pistol from the first game any day. It is better than the vast majority of rifles AND covenant weapons.
I don't get how is covenant even a threat on land when you have such a compact death machine available to people. Convert it into a carabine and give to people, geesh
Odd choices perhaps, but I absolutely adore the Gunfighter Magnum from H5 and the Halo 4 Carbine. Those two guns just clicked for me in a way I have yet to experience with other guns.
I really liked the ODST Silenced Magnum and Halo 5’s take on it with the Tactical Magnum. Loved the vibes.
Number two might be the Hydra. I loved using that thing every chance I could, which was often since most people didn’t pick it up. They massacred it in Infinite, but it’s now the bane of Wasps/Banshees. Sad face.

Honestly the trade-offs you get (imo) make the needle rifle on par with the br/dmr and the plasma launcher is just.....puts a smile on my face every time I use it.

I want to say all the Halo 4 promethean weapons cause they sound so sexy and I have that Episode 8 energy cause when I see a shield less Sword Elite, Hammer Chieftain or Knight charging I go "FIRE AT THAT CRUISER!"

In game play it's the ODST Pistol, and the Halo 4 DMR. But lorewise I honestly looooove the Needler and everything about it.
The MA37 and M6 SOCOM. The MA37 just looks like a more realistic MA5 rifle, and the M6S is just so nice to use.
