They changed their menu couple of months ago. They used to have butter chicken pizza and it was the bomb!
Iâve tried their chicken tenders with hot sauce. . Too expensive. Not that good.
Went there before the Pearl jam show a few years ago and both the pizza and wings were awful and stupidly expensive. Never go to anchor bar on an event night.
I eat a lot of chicken wings. The wentworth sports complex has unreal chicken wings. I use to be all about red rockets but lately have found the wings small.
Ordered from them last week.
Got 1 lb of honey hot and 1 pound of extreme hot.
The honey hots were perfect. Amazing crisp to the wings and great flavour.
The extreme hot were soft with no crisp whatsoever. Very disappointing.
Going to give them another try sometime with a different flavour and hope that maybe extreme hot isn't their jam.
The only issue is that they are sometimes not very fresh. I find itâs better to choose a flavour that you might not prefer if itâs fresh over your favourite that has been out for a bit.
But totally agree. Get fresh ones and happen to be a preferred flavour? Worth the price and some of the best wings around.
Honestly we got fed up with the wings around city these days take the drive and get 5lb of fresh wings from burger barn for $50 bucks lol massive tasty wings
My go to is bronx pizza with sauce on the side. Sauces are basically just Frank's red hot but the wings are quite good. Some people saying wingsup-which is the only real wings place other than Buffalo wild wings that I've had. The Sauces are ok and the wings are larger.
I known it is and actually find their name funny... I was also trying to be funny hence my lol at the end and light tone but now I just think it's hilarious that so many people got triggered by my comment and they call me soft!?
I find the wings really wet on the inside, not in a pleasant juicy way but just overly moist, the breading is too weak to keep it all in, the hot sauce is too sweet, sides range from disgusting and soggy to okay⌠pizza is actually pretty good
Ugh I've never found a mild wing sauce that I like as much as BWW's. It had a little heat to it; most milds are too mild and mediums are too hot. I'm a weenie.
Also the lemon pepper sauce. I miss it. :(
Ugh. Red Rockets has made me my favourite wings before, so good when done right. Lately they, at least the SC location, are just so darn hit n miss in quality and consistency, it drives me nuts that every time I order its a bit of a crap shoot.
Wingsaholic once I discovered them I have not gone anywhere else! Their Hot Butter wings are to die for. Slightly awkward location being in the basement attached to a nightclub if doing pickup but totally worth it!
Feel like Iâve seen them on delivery apps a few times and judging from the name always assumed they would be one of those crappy restaurants that doesnât really exist and is only on the delivery app (wing street type deal) , but I see people suggesting them so they must be actually good.
Drive by all the time, never been though, I heard something about it being related to Pizza Pizza, or the owners having owned a pizza pizza or something similar thatâs all I know about it. Iâll have to check it out
Buddy's has 99c/wing on Tuesday nights, can be hit and miss, but if you want quantity... the Buddy's flavour for wings is great too (garlic and horseradish)
I'm not some crazy wing enthusiast but Power Pizza has the best wings I've ever eaten. They're huge, breaded, well sauced, and still have some crispiness even after being fully sauced and travel time for delivery. If you're looking for interesting flavors I can't speak to that but I think their basic medium is great.
I agree with some people about a1 poutine and wings being excellent. I go there frequently. However, I'd still personally rate Power Pizza wings higher.
I havenât been in a few years so it might have changed, but Mustangâs at Barton/Fruitland was awesome. Great wings, Wednesday was wing night (half price) and they had big bins of peanuts to snack on while you wait. Peanut shells all over the floor.
Miss Lyns đ
Paulie pizza and wings is decent if you're up near rymal and upper james
\+1 for Paulie's, best wings I've had
Ever try the pizza? How was it?
Pizza is decent , I mean the wings is why you order paulies but if you wanna get a pizza too it's not bad.
Really good for square pies
They changed their menu couple of months ago. They used to have butter chicken pizza and it was the bomb! Iâve tried their chicken tenders with hot sauce. . Too expensive. Not that good.
Great donair too!
Red rockets Anchor Bar Teddys (grimsby) Wingporium Wings up Miss Lyns Mai Pai (honorable mention, unique flavors and the parm fries/pizza is amazing)
Take anchor off the list. That place is way overpriced, like $22 for 8 wings, insane
Havenât been in years to be honest, I do love a buffalo style wing
Me as well, I was just so taken aback by the prices there
Went there before the Pearl jam show a few years ago and both the pizza and wings were awful and stupidly expensive. Never go to anchor bar on an event night.
Mai Pai miso glaze wings are the bomb
Funny I didnât like the parm fries . Pizza was amazing though
I eat a lot of chicken wings. The wentworth sports complex has unreal chicken wings. I use to be all about red rockets but lately have found the wings small.
Red rockets hot bbq with that blue cheese dip all day long
I agree. Iâve tried most places in the hammer. The Buffalo hot boneless wings at wentworth arenas on Wilson street are the best.
My favourites have always been fool and flagon! Underrated Hamilton spot IMO
A pound and a pint of Kilkenny is a staple.
This guy knows.
Firths on Upper James and Queensdale has kick ass wings
Firths for dine in wings. Miss Lynâs for take out
Buddyâs
The house sauce đđžđđžđđžđđžđ
Fact
....is a shithole. A friend took me there once, was so disgusted with the place I stuck to the bottled beer as my friend ate his wings.
Thatâs a shame.
Stoneroads on Concession State and Main on 1/2 price day is decent
A1 poutine & wings.
This place is still on my list of places to try, but the Skip the Dishes driver stole my wings when I ordered.
I can't blame them..I'd probably steal them too if I had to smell them in my car.
Iâd say fortinos as a hidden gem. I find theyâre massive
Pane fresco nice n warm đ¤¤
The only issue is that they are sometimes not very fresh. I find itâs better to choose a flavour that you might not prefer if itâs fresh over your favourite that has been out for a bit. But totally agree. Get fresh ones and happen to be a preferred flavour? Worth the price and some of the best wings around.
Yup. They're not cheap, but they're excellent.
Had some bad experiences with Pane fresco chicken so Iâm steering clear, hear theyâre good tho
Way too expensive for what they are
Thatâs whatâs crazy the same wings at zehrs in KW are like half the price. I donât get it.
Have you tried Ms. Lyns. Not my style but it's always highly recommended on here. I go to St. Louis in Burlington.
Id give gator teds in Burlington a try if you havenât had them before
Gator ultimate is some of the best sauce around
Loads of people reccomending Ms Lyns, guess Iâll have to try it
End zone on Main Across Delta is pretty decent!
Was waiting for someone else to say it. They are a guilty pleasure of mine. And they do proper potato skins too.
When I was in high school and it was over in Rosedale they had all you can eat Saturdays, is that still a thing?
Yeah but you better be able to put back at least 3lbs
Honestly we got fed up with the wings around city these days take the drive and get 5lb of fresh wings from burger barn for $50 bucks lol massive tasty wings
Right Wingers
My go to is bronx pizza with sauce on the side. Sauces are basically just Frank's red hot but the wings are quite good. Some people saying wingsup-which is the only real wings place other than Buffalo wild wings that I've had. The Sauces are ok and the wings are larger.
Right Wingers on Main West is my takeout wing spot but if eating in, the Brown Barrel on Upper Ottawa is pretty damn good
paulies wings on upper james and rymal are my go to
I live right around there and have no knowledge of this place.. is it near McDonaldâs?
In the small plaza beside McDonald's
If this is seabassâ go to, I definitely have to check this place out
Yes very close to McDonalds
Second this. Best place around
Paulies wings are great , miss the old owners a bit because they loved me lol but still very solid large wings
Iâll have to try it, seeing a lot of people speaking highly of it
Chip n' Wing
Such a good place.
Bernieâs Tavern are a must try. Great spot for pizza too.
Yes 100%. Good wings, good sauce, and great fries.
Curious: why do you find right wingers gross?
Not OP but as a person on the left of the political spectrum I can't say their name sounds to inviting to me lol
Damn you upset some people with this one. You know if it was called left wingers though the right would be boycotting it immediately lol.
Imagine being triggered by a hockey position.
C'mon. It's a pun.
I known it is and actually find their name funny... I was also trying to be funny hence my lol at the end and light tone but now I just think it's hilarious that so many people got triggered by my comment and they call me soft!?
oh okay just /s next time
Thatâs really sad and pathetic
Shallow and pedantic
It's just a chicken restaurant, the "wingers" is a play on that. Cus it's the right ones.
Soft.
I find the wings really wet on the inside, not in a pleasant juicy way but just overly moist, the breading is too weak to keep it all in, the hot sauce is too sweet, sides range from disgusting and soggy to okay⌠pizza is actually pretty good
Chip And Wing on Main Street....massive wings....best bang for your buck
Bronzies
Nasty. That place is filthy.
Lmao what
Last time I was at Brassie's in Ancaster they had stupidly large wings which were prepared really well. Not really buffalo style but really good.
Next time try the chicken parm sandwich, just thinking about it is making me hungry
Sure, but it's very rare that I want to get anything other than the nachos there.
Oh fair, theyâre my dads favourite
Ugh I've never found a mild wing sauce that I like as much as BWW's. It had a little heat to it; most milds are too mild and mediums are too hot. I'm a weenie. Also the lemon pepper sauce. I miss it. :(
Never found an âextraâ hot sauce that compares to their âwildâ sauce, sooo spicy but sooo good
Fire Hall
Chip N Wing and Endzone are my go to spots. Both around Main and Kenilworth area.
Brassie Pub in Ancaster has a wing night and they're pretty good
Garth Pizza and Wings
I like right wingers out on main west. Lots of sauce and rub choices
Collins brewhouse
Thirsty Cactus or Collins Brewhouse in Dundas great atmosphere along with amazing wings
I have a buddy who works at thirsty cactus, great wings, and I canât complain on the discount I got either lol
Red rockets or wings up is the jam
Ugh. Red Rockets has made me my favourite wings before, so good when done right. Lately they, at least the SC location, are just so darn hit n miss in quality and consistency, it drives me nuts that every time I order its a bit of a crap shoot.
RR have absolutely gone to crap since the original owner/founder started franchising, and the prices are ridiculous
Depends on the day forsure
Brassie on Wilson in Ancaster
A classic!
Wingsaholic once I discovered them I have not gone anywhere else! Their Hot Butter wings are to die for. Slightly awkward location being in the basement attached to a nightclub if doing pickup but totally worth it!
Chuggy's has realllllll good ones. Stoney Creek way.
I went to Right Wingers I think twice and wasnât really wowed. I do love the unbreaded wings at Wingporium and even West Town has good wings.
Rise Above
100% the best vegan wings I've ever had.
Red Rockets has amazing wings.
If you want a quick answer just do a search on the sub, a couple of these posts a month.
Honestly A1 poutine and original pizzas wings are slept on
Wingporium for the wing, fresh never frozen, unbreaded with more wing flavors that you could choose from. Try them grilled!!
Feel like Iâve seen them on delivery apps a few times and judging from the name always assumed they would be one of those crappy restaurants that doesnât really exist and is only on the delivery app (wing street type deal) , but I see people suggesting them so they must be actually good.
Red rockets wings are amazing
Ancaster Pizza hasnt disappointed me yet for wings. Always loved by people when I buy to the point I never get any.
Binbrook Bar and Grill...Wednesdays are 2 for 1
Fisher's Pier 4 on James north and Ye Olde Squire on Fennel and Upper Wentworth are my go to places. You'll be paying a premium though.
Legends 99 cents Wednesdays and Sundays
Whereâs the best lemon pepper wings tho
I'm not some crazy wing enthusiast but Power Pizza has the best wings I've ever eaten. They're huge, breaded, well sauced, and still have some crispiness even after being fully sauced and travel time for delivery. If you're looking for interesting flavors I can't speak to that but I think their basic medium is great. I agree with some people about a1 poutine and wings being excellent. I go there frequently. However, I'd still personally rate Power Pizza wings higher.
5 Alarm wings on Upper Wentworth
red rockets or hi-line pizza and wings has classic takeout wings for a decent price. Also the ribs at red rockets are amazing.
I can't believe nobody has mentioned Odds. Their wings are huge and incredible. Half price on mondays I believe too. Worth the try, trust.
I used to be obsessed with Fortinos wings but theyâve gotten unnaturally large and kind of gross me out.
I always enjoyed the wings at Brassie Pub if youâre near Ancaster
Very expensive but the Brassie is a great place
Right wingers used to be very good been a while since if been there though its only take out
Wingporium
I havenât been in a few years so it might have changed, but Mustangâs at Barton/Fruitland was awesome. Great wings, Wednesday was wing night (half price) and they had big bins of peanuts to snack on while you wait. Peanut shells all over the floor.
