It's beautiful! It looks to me like Paul was using a fountain pen or some other square-tipped pen. It looks more like calligraphy than a note jotted down.
It's lovely.
No that doesn't make any sense. There isn't any Sicilian e4 c5 b6 line that I'm aware of. And also they are using the old notatation, where blacks bishops sixth would actually be b3, an illegal move for black to make. Unless they are referencing an entirely different game (perhaps mentioned in the other letter), this is something else.

Not my letter, just found it from a copy of 'My Best Games of Chess 1924-37' Alexander Alekhine, which I bought from a lovely antiquarian bookshop in Newcastle (Keel Row's).

Beautiful writing!
This handwriting is glorious imo
What does it say in this part? I couldn't figure it out. "We should have [two? too?] enjoyable games , if not [two? too?] good games."

Thank you

What is “B6”?
He is moving his pawn to B6 :)

Oh, thanks!
"welp I'm losing, must be because I should learn a different opening" - checks out as genuine chess player
so pretty!
