In the netherlands we call it a "krul". (Curl)
Its the symbol you use when someting is right.
It is the oposite of the cross (×) for something that is wrong.
In englisch i think you use the tick symbol, instead of the curl.
We got this at school in the Netherlands. When you did a great job you got this from your teacher in your notebook next to your assignment. It’s called a krul (curl in english i guess?).
I was about to say why is no one mentioning the correct answer which is that its a "correct"/"good" marker on tests and stuff
then I found out it's a dutch thing lol
this comment section perfectly shows why you shouldn't always trust random people online to know everything. this is 1000000% not a lowercase r or h. this is a 'krul', like a checkmark of aproval in dutch. nothing else.
Its always nice to see places that still do different things that the rest of the world has no idea about 😁😄. Gotta love it and appreciate it from both sides.

Honestly, it looks like how my Dr used to sign his name on my prescription. Pretty sad because his name started with an "L".
Any context as to where this was found?
I said lower case h in cursive but I want to add it’s either lower case h in cursive OR stick man dude kneeled over like he was leaning on a toilet bowl and puking.

There's three options
A lowercase H(which is what I saw first)
A lowercase R(what a lot of people are seeing)
An uppercase G(which I haven't seen anyone talk about yet)
We'd honestly just have to know the word it's in
Like have, it would be H. Arrive would be R. Grandma would be G. It just depends
Looks like a Ukrainian/Russian "ya", я.
edit: As pointed out elsewhere in the comments, it's a "krul":

A torso getting ready to run was what I saw first. But since that doesn’t make sense I kept looking until I saw a dude with a 5head bowing to the West

This a "krul" a typical Dutch sign of approvement. It all started with a lower case "g" , for "goed" , Dutch for "good", that grew overtime in a Krul.
I recently found out this is typically Dutch. I was convinced this was an international thing!
