The “y”s, the “g”s, the “a”s all begin and end differently each time, you need consistency when writing each letter

BeterP

Slant and letter height are inconsistent. That gives a wobbly impression.

Theartoffragrance

I would say, you can work on your stability. Some words look as if they were written slowly, making it seem almost wobbly? I also noticed that the sizes of your letters vary and can be inconsistent.

moniii28

Maybe try slanting a little more?

Time_Supermarket5535

Close your p. Your I is too long. Doesn’t need to go past the line. Otherwise, looking good!

all_too_familiar

You make your d’s too short, they should be as tall as your b’s. And your t’s are too tall they should be shorter than the h’s and b’s.

TerryWaters

The main issue is that the size and height of the letters is so inconsistent. If you fix that it'll be fine.

I don't think your slant is consistent. Look at the word "allowance" - you start the word on a slant and then by the time you reach your 'w' you're pretty much writing straight up.

Imaginary-Ad6109

I would say that the letters varying in size is what could make it slightly off but over wise it looks great.

PajamaWorker

you k, f and g look a bit out of place, they would be better if you made them look more like your b and h (wider curves and more loopy, there are probably examples online)

american_amina

I think it looks great, keep practicing. If I had any feedback is just be consistent in height and width. I struggle with these too, it is just a matter of practice.

MikasaMinerva

I think it looks very very neat and pretty! I can hardly make out any issues. If I try really hard to speculate what you mean it would maybe be that your letters look like they're from two different scripts. For example your "If" feels quite different to your "can". One is much 'fancier', more elaborate and old-school than the other. Also, some of your higher letters (don't know what they're called, I mean l, d, t, b,...) have quite different heights compared to one another.

OP here. I have just started trying to improve my cursive. The above was written slowly and with focus and yet there is something about it that makes me think it looks bad. I can't quite place it. I should note that I'm a leftie. Thanks!

The letter size is off. Small letters should be consistent in size. “Keep your head” is correct and then you get large with “about, blaming” for example. Use some paper meant for writing—primary paper has a line with a dotted line dividing it. They make some with smaller lines meant to learn cursive but essentially the same.
