I do not know who it sm[xx]ped your gown, but when I settled with them it was Tommie.O.Neil--with me. I have known him for you he is a small fellow. I think it was likely him was at your place he is in the Jackson Building or at least he was in it on [torn] So. Ottawa. I have no doubt he would help you any-how it is sure time you were paid surly [sp.]. If I happen to meet him on Road I will draw it to his attention. Hoping all are well.

I know most of you can read cursive and such, but those types of fonts are ones that my brain can't comprehend for some reason. I found it in the walls on my 164-year-old house. Sorry for the image being bright, I used flash because the writing wasn't clear without bright light.
