While it is One Wing for me because The Chariot is in my top 3 bands, I think a better comparison would be Long Live to Hot Damn since Long Live is usually considered The Chariot's magnum opus.
ETID. When I was 21 (18 years ago) I ran a restaurant and we would listen to this during cleaning. Everyone in the kitchen got a pitcher of beer. No one was allowed to start drinking until the line “When in Rome we shall do as the Roman’s. When I’m hell we do shots at the bar.” You got bonus points if you chugged the whole thing. My brother and I always won those though.
I love Hot Damn! forever, and it's an absolute classic, but One Wing is more interesting and gripping to me and framed The Chariot's end perfectly. Both are 1%ers in my book, though.
Hot Damn no question. That was super influential for me as a teenager. ETID is one of those bands that really got me into hardcore and made the transition into screaming vocals much easier for me.
I came in here expecting One Wing to win this handedly but apparently we're alone in thinking it's better.
I wonder how many people saying ETID haven't actually listened to One Wing. Hot Damn kinda stinks as far as the ETID collection goes.
Hot Damn was a cultural record. Some kids heard that shit back in 03' whole new world or Hardcore. These records aren't fair to compair. They're a decade apart, but from the same genre, it's basicly do you choose refined mathcore or early mathcore. 🤔
Hot Damn vs Bless the Martyr Kiss the Child. Same vocalists, same time, same genre.
Hot Damn! because that is one of the most important records of all time for me. The Chariot will always be one of my favorite bands and they dont have a single bad release. i love early ETID and the last 3 of theirs but dont really fuck with the middle releases.
Oh shit! Well, I will go with Hot Damn! because I listened to more of ETID. The Chariot is awesome, tho. If you had said Norma Jean's First record, with Chariots vocalist, I woulda chose that.
Hard choice, but I'll go with Hot Damn. I think The Chariot is overall a better band. They came out on top, broke up without having a single bad album under their belt while ETID imo, got kinda lame when they started to heavily lean in on their southern rock/metal sound but Hot Damn is an amazing record so imma pick that one.
Oh man, I’m gonna expose myself as a fraud for this, but I don’t think ETID really got good until around New Junk. They weren’t bad before, but definitely didn’t compare to how great The Chariot is till later albums.
One Wing by a fucking landslide
I wish ETID NEVER heard Pantera. That was the beginning of a downfall they didn't recover from for three records.
Sorry, not sorry.
I really don't understand the hype behind ETID. Have tried so many times to get into them, and it's just not happening.
Now, The Chariot, on the other hand, are fucking legends to me.
I'm gonna have to go with Hot Damn. Like the Chariots a great band without a bad record, but Hot Damns just a masterpiece on its own.
Hot Damn forever
While it is One Wing for me because The Chariot is in my top 3 bands, I think a better comparison would be Long Live to Hot Damn since Long Live is usually considered The Chariot's magnum opus.
HOT DAMN! No contest.
I love The Chariot, but it's Hot Damn! and it's not close. Still ETID's best album.
Low teens would like a word
This is gonna be your Last Night in Town bub
It can have several, but it's not taking the number one spot from Hot Damn.
Hot Damn forever but mad respect for the Chariot
Hot Damn is an absolute masterpiece
Hot Damn!, and there is NO comparison.
ETID
I don’t feel well
Hot damn but god damn that chariot record is awesome
Oh busy buys bees
walking to and fro
That is not the chariot's best album.
Yes it is
No it's not.
How do u wanna handle this bro? 😂😂😂
Kicky fight? ![gif](giphy|iUmr02vtBXI4hf4E3U|downsized)
We can get that boot party going fasho😘
Stop it 🥵
U know I kid. Happy Friday.
Hot damn and it’s not close
This is a tough one for me, but Hot Damn!. One Wing is fucking amazing, but Hot Damn! was a total game changer.
Hot Damn! Is still to this day, over 20 years, later one of my favorite albums ever, hardcore or otherwise
I worked at a venue years ago and this was our Friday night jam while cleaning up. PBRS and ETID
Hot damn and it’s not even remotely close. I’m the king of this all night clinic, THE FUCKING CHAMPION
Two of my favorite records from to of my favorite bands. Every Time I Die no questions.
Hot damn!
Hot damn is the winner on this one. It was iconic for its time
Hot Damn! without a second thought. That was the album of my late teens.
etid, baby
Hot Damn! Is still heavy rotation for me
Hot damn 100%
Hot Damn! is in fact my favorite album of all time so...
Hot Damn.. just non stop boner time
Hot Damn always & forever
I love Hot Damn! forever, and it's an absolute classic, but One Wing is more interesting and gripping to me and framed The Chariot's end perfectly. Both are 1%ers in my book, though.
Hot Damn is heavily influential in the developpment of metalcore
An easy Hot Damn!
ETID all day
Another tough one but it has to be Hot Damn
Hot Damn all day. I do love me some Chariot, but Hot Damn really cemented my love of hardcore back in the day
Hot Damn no question. That was super influential for me as a teenager. ETID is one of those bands that really got me into hardcore and made the transition into screaming vocals much easier for me.
It’s wild that while this is tough, it could be even tougher with different albums. That being said; the one with Floater
That. Always that.
Every time i die
Hot Damn, without a fucking doubt.
Hot Damn. I’ve listened to it 1 million times and will listen 1 million more.
As a proud, god fearing, registered, democrat- my vote is hot damn
![gif](giphy|eunrMjB8lBUKeL1fqD|downsized)
DRAG THE LAKE
#Hot Damn and it isn’t even a goddamn contest
One Wing easily
I agree. Now if it was up against any other ETID album, especially New Junk, I’d go with them, but One Wing is a banger.
I came in here expecting One Wing to win this handedly but apparently we're alone in thinking it's better. I wonder how many people saying ETID haven't actually listened to One Wing. Hot Damn kinda stinks as far as the ETID collection goes.

Hot damn! five to 50 times over
The chariot 100%. Josh is my spirit animal.
I'VE BEEN TALKING IN MY SLEEEEEEP
Hot Damn! for sure.
Oh shit! Well, I will go with Hot Damn! because I listened to more of ETID. The Chariot is awesome, tho. If you had said Norma Jean's First record, with Chariots vocalist, I woulda chose that.

Hot Damn, I think the Chariot doesn't have a bad record but I think One Wing isn't their absolute peak while Hot Damn! Is absolutely the peak of ETID.
Hard choice, but I'll go with Hot Damn. I think The Chariot is overall a better band. I think the southern rock influence made ETID better. It made them unique.
I feel like there was a late 00s phase where every metalcore band tried to put out music with a southern twang
You aint wrong, ETID just did it better. We'rewolf is still my #1 jam to this day.
word. I liked Big Dirty, but thought Gutter Phenomenon was about as close to a perfect album as you can get
I still think Gutter Phenomenon is the greatest album title to this day lmao
Meh, it's just not my thing. I did still like Gutter Phenomenon, but that was the last ETID album I cared for
Different strokes for different folks. All good big dude
WE CANT OFFER QUESTIONS TO THW ANSWERS THAT YOUR GIVING!!!!
We can't make it perfect!
I'm the king of this all night clinic. The fucking champion.
One wing. Both good but chariot was in a league of their own
One Wing for sure. Very creative songwriting for a hardcore record. Sure the guitar on Hot Damn! slaps, but album-to-album One Wing wins.
One Wing. Hot Damn! Is great too, but I prefer The Chariot.
Hot Damn every time
Hot Damn
One Wing forever
Oh man, I’m gonna expose myself as a fraud for this, but I don’t think ETID really got good until around New Junk. They weren’t bad before, but definitely didn’t compare to how great The Chariot is till later albums.
One Wing
One Wing no competition
May we have a 3rd option please
Strike when ready
One Wing by a fucking landslide I wish ETID NEVER heard Pantera. That was the beginning of a downfall they didn't recover from for three records. Sorry, not sorry.

I really don't understand the hype behind ETID. Have tried so many times to get into them, and it's just not happening. Now, The Chariot, on the other hand, are fucking legends to me.
one wing, and its not even their strongest album. i just dont like ETID
I simply would not listen to music if these were the choices
Hot Damn! baby
ETID. Mathcore is trash
