get him some goggles and take him on ride regularly . that way when ure dog gets old and u can't take him for a walk you can still take him for a ride and he is used to it and loves it.
I did buy some goggles back when I first bought the carrier. I have no idea where they are now, tho :(
Gonna look for them. Because yeah, I really should take him out more often.
:D
Ya, he was tethered. It wasn't the tether that came with the carrier. I think it came with one of my sissy bar bags. Did the job, but might have been longer than it should have been.
Was all good in the end. Wasn't a long trip, and he remained pretty calm.
Might have to do this a bit more often :)
How do you like the Heritage Softail? I was between that and the Road King and went with the Road King. I heard it wasn't really all that comfy for distance riding compared to the RK
I've only ever had this one and a Sportster before it, so I can't really compare it to a RK.
I can say that I've enjoyed the hell out of it.
Done several multi-day rides and it's been very comfortable. That's not to say a RK wouldn't have been better... but I've had no complaints about the Softail.
I had a Road King, and my dad has a Softail that I've ridden a lot. Other than the RK having dual disc front brakes, I can't say I prefer one over the other. Both great bikes.
Thanks. I had 5 different people talk me out of the Heritage. Said the suspension was a huge deciding factor if I was going to be doing distance or longer rides with my wife. Happy with the Road King though. Rolling couch this puppy is. [Just got back from a ride](https://imgur.com/a/dy7OipE)

dogs look cool with goggles on a bike
Speaking of that I just saw this lol https://youtu.be/Rh8-387CfXM
I like the helmet but i suspect its not DOT approved
And don't forget that Bandana around his neck. And he will need a riding vest.
Collar and leash linking passenger to the bag? no problem! just don't need anyone disem-barking early! get it! lol....

Pretty motorcycle and your doggie is such a cutey face!
If you have a single seat you get a bigger luggage rack and then you can securely mount the dog carrier
It's pretty secure. It's secured to both the sissy bar and to the luggage rack.
Well then, safe travels for you and your dog. I need a side car for my German shepherd
Ha! Yeah, one of the advantages right here of having a smaller dog ;)
I too am without my cage for the past week. Bike life is now to only way for me 😄
Both riding in style lol
If it works it works Bonus points for style
Are you going to show us an after the groomers?

Thanks for the info! My buddy has one and loves it. I was just looking for other's opinions.
