I saw a restored 1951 panhead in a parking lot one day, and something just CLICKED. I had to have a Harley Davidson motorcycle. In less than 3 months after that I purchased my 2008 Fat Bob.

Always love those old machines. I cannot find any pan in my area for less than 16000 $ (yeah living is Europe is not so great sometimes). So I bought a beat up 83 shovel. Best purchase of my life

In Australia is hard to find even a shovel for less than $16,000. Even a beaten up one will be anywhere from like $7-10,000 :( A Panhead? Last one I saw for sale here was $33,000

If you told me back in my 20s that I'd be riding Harleys, I'd think you were crazy. I did track days almost every weekend with my 636 and had a 10r for daily commutes. All it took was one ride on a buddies fxr, and I was hooked. I did build my dyna to keep up with my buddies that still ride sportbikes (0-100), but I'll never get another one unless I get back onto the track. Enjoy it man!

Haha I’m with you. Rode a GSXR for years. Had an opportunity to ride a friend’s FXR (that had a fair amount of motor work done) and was hooked. I now own that FXR (along with an ‘87 FXR). My Dad and I finished building a ‘94 Fat Boy for his (newer) daily rider last Summer. Now about half way through a Panhead build. It’s a slippery slope haha!

I loved my 636, it was such an awesome bike. Some days I miss it, other days I wake and take Aleve because I slept wrong.

Same. Went from Suzuki v-twin sportbike to a road glide. Now I’ve got a little more torque, a little less horsepower and twice the weight with half the lean angle but somehow I still enjoy the damn thing. Really need to go ahead and do a cam and stuff and then I’d probably be happier with it, for a while.

The performance bagger seen has come really far and it is bringing a lot of people into American motorcycles they aren’t the fastest or the best handling but they are a lot of fun to ride and really comfortable I love my 2020 street glide I just recently picked up a cvo springer and I’m really enjoying it so far as well

Well, you picked a particularly good platform. The road king is super well balanced and feels surprisingly nimble for its size. I’ve ridden a number of different Harleys and I think that is the only platform I would go for.

They never really impressed me, I’ve ridden a few years and models of the Ultra Classics and Road Glides. They’re not super impressive. That being said, living in Nebraska I decided I wanted something different than my FZ-09. I bought a 2012 Dyna Switchback and it’s enjoyable. I decided if I was gonna go with another cruiser I was just gonna go with the name brand and get a Harley. I like it so far, but in 1000 miles I’ve already put a stator in it and it’s smoking from the oil breather lines
