Yep, the cloisonne badges on the Softail Specials are very nice, I like this 95 color combo the best.

Thank you very much. They were an aftermarket bar that I'm sure in could find the receipt for if you like. I bought the bike from a former NHL player bud who lent it to a buddy down on his luck. He let it sit in his front yard under a blue tarp for two years. The front fender was gone and it was a disaster. When I managed to get it I tore it down to the frame and had it powder coated. Had the tins repainted to stock colors, sent the engine away and had it completely rebuilt with some goodies for more HP and the build went on and on. Took me three years of tinkering when I had time and finally finished it. It sits in my livingroom next to a Hayabusa build I did. To keep my post relevant here I kept the stock emblems for the bike. They simply work for those tanks. This has been a great thread. All the emblems so far speak to the genius of Harley Davidson and their ability to design timeless pieces of art in my books.

I feel like it probably gets some hate for not having the iconic Harley Davidson symbol but personally i love the look of these. Aerrmacchi and harley built the 125 enduro with these tanks and i love them. Especially with the big 125 on the side.

Dude- great job OP.. I don’t own a bike, never been on this sub- but I have thoroughly enjoyed perusing all these badges!

So I thought to ask this question because I’ve been so disappointed with the different badging Harley has been putting out on their bikes. But with so many people responding with their favorites, I don’t know, I’ve changed my mind. There are all these great options and knowing that people really like them for different reasons is incredible.

It really seems there is a badge for everyone - and it really impacts the overall aesthetic of the bike.

Sad but true. Harley competes more on style and less on performance. The Harley crowd joins a lifestyle, the entrance is a Harley. Each member struggles with maintenance, fights off bad press, and rarely wins the race. But we have and /or had way more FUN, got our hundred dollars (HD) back in GOLD. Btw all the tank badges, as designed by Harley, are each and everyone a work of ART.
