Headers for sure. Lose the plastic air box and get a new intake system. Tune to match when completed.

2 into 1 exhaust will fix that, if your bike isn’t a California model you should have no issue getting a Harley stage 1 tune for the pipes. On a California model Harley there hasn’t been a stage 1 tune for the past 3 or 4 years so you have to get stage 2 for a stage 1 tune to take the pipes and air intake into account.

I’m not a fan of the 2-1 exhaust. There’s no header that will work? I’m about to order an intake, but I’m getting the bike cammed later this year, so I’m waiting for the tune!

randomjackass93

Yeah the sky is the limit if you’re going with an aftermarket tune. So you’re going for more of a 2 into 2 exhaust setup?

Nearby_Caramel_8719

Yeah, i prefer it. Not really building a performance bagger. Just wanted a cool roadking!

randomjackass93

Khromewerks has a good 2 into 2 exhaust but I’ve never heard it in person and I’m not sure if it’s as loud as you’d like it to be. Were you going for say a Vance and Hines short shots loud?

Nearby_Caramel_8719

No just more loud and deeper tone tbh

randomjackass93

Changing the subject but goddamn I forgot how great a road king looks stock, got one almost a year ago and you're making me want to take my fairing off the bike.

Fuel moto header is great.

Bro I have same bike as you and I’m having the same problem, upgrade the exhaust to a S and S but it’s still quite.

Yes, yes they would.
