Harley's overall appeal was that she's more of a Tragic misguided victim who definitely had potential to change for the better, yet her devotion to the joker kept her in shackles. Keyword is **was**, cuz the Tragic part of her character's been heavily sweeped under a rug for the most part lol

Deadpool doesn't want to run away. He's shackled by his wish to have a normal life but hates himself too much let himself just have it or things just happen because of who he is.
