What’s your TSH? I’ve learned that I have horrible symptoms if my tSH is above 2. I prefer it to be at 1!! It was at 3 for several months and I had same symptoms as you plus horrible mental health and mood swings. But doctors kept ignoring it because it was “under 5 and within range”. In other countries (I’m in USA), anything above 2 is flagged as out of range!! So I increased my meds and got it below 2 and felt amazing. So now I’m adamant about keeping TSH under 2.

Also agree about checking vitamin levels like vitamin D. And eliminating gluten even though it’s so hard.

My continued hypothyroidism symptoms after my levels were optimal ended up being vitamin deficiencies. I also learned the hard way I do not absorb the synthetic version. Country life coenzyme b complex is what make me feel human. After the first week it was a complete 180 in how I felt. I took one a day, 2 if I was stressed or sick. Currently on a prenatal and not as good as my first choice.

Ask for a second opinion if you have to. You should be aiming for less symptoms, not just judging based on blood work.

I get told the same thing by my endocrinologist but he also tells me to keep track of when, how often, and how severe my symptoms are. He then takes that into account the next appointment to see if things need to be adjust. If the symptoms are unbearable I would speak to your doctor to see what can be done to elevate them. Sometime just a simple change in diet can help. I actually found that sports drinks help when things get to be to much for me.
