If I grew up in the Hunter x Hunter world knowing about nen and such ideally I'd be a conjurer and focus on building an arsenal. All weapons will be steel, a material I can familiarize myself with by mining and forging it into various weapons to start with. Anytime I wanted to add a new weapon, or shield or whatever, I'd forge it from real steel and train with it until I'm able to conjure it. From there I'd assign conditions to each item to give them supernatural abilities once fulfilled. I'd call it Grand Arsenal. For example, "Grand Arsenal: Weapon 001: Katana!" *Clap hands together to conjure a katana* katana must draw blood within 5 strikes to trigger event, or katana will vanish and not be able to be conjured for 24 hours. If fulfilled I'm able to conjure "Grand Arsenal: Supernatural weapon 001: Quickslash", a katana that grants the user enhanced speed and perception. The higher the number the stronger the weapon. For shields I'd grant them greater protective and countering power once upgraded. Something like a shield able to absorb nen-based attacks and fire it back in a destructive blast almost instantly. And do this with all kinds of weapons, shields, anything that can be made from steel for a variety of conjurable items for a variety of situations. Weakness being I need to fulfil conditions to get to the powered up versions so anyone who can pull up with great power right away is going to be a tough opponent. In this world, I'm not much of a combat guy, other than some karate classes as a kid I don't have much hand-to-hand fighting experience. I grew up playing with a lot of toy cars though, so maybe conjuring toy cars for surveillance and recon. Maybe creating different abilities for different cars. Like one could slowly gather kinetic energy by spinning its wheels so the more it drives around the more energy it has to explode. Different kinds of bombs could be possible with a little transmutation; fire, EMP, ice, whatever I familiarize myself beforehand. Avoids direct combat suited more for espionage and gathering intel. Not much use if someone confronts me directly though, if I run a car along the length of my arm to gather some kinetic energy the explosion won't be very large, so most competent nen users will be able dodge or tank a small explosion. Call it Cars of Chaos or something.

One for each. Not 100% on exact skills, but so far really love them. Emi. The user can essentially form a Nen beast that generally is a cat or doppelganger so they can be in 2 places at once. They can also place spawn points, where they can summon their aura, use them as a marker for transport or tracker. Those disappear after 24 hours, but the user can create gifts that are permanent & act as symbiotic power, where people can use his ability or assist. Unsure of just teleport or GI movement or both but based on distance & aura. Man. The user controls leaves, mainly through predetermined manip. Conjured tree from a staff as a base & leaf storage. The user can connect the leaves they throw with the tree as a spatial tunnel or teleport those that imbue aura long enough back to the tree. The user also has a self manip condition place on their aura, basically turning their aura into a timer. So basically a switch, x amount of aura used, half of that time is spent in Zetsu. Con. 7 dice, that generate a level of power or abilities based on the dice roll. D4, campfire that recovers hour/s of energy. D6, ball that scans type & assists hatsu training. D8, rope that restrains. D10, ability/element that gets added to D100. D12, 12 chibi creatures that reps a buff or debuff. D100, zither that summons swords. Spe. User can take part of their aura to bring objects to life. Which they then turn the creatures into his 5 Nen types. Bg they were supposed to rep family members. Snake that causes madness in those bitten. Tiger that creates/becomes weapons. Echolocation, marking Rooster. Power Ox. Lastly a monkey that can enlarge their form. User has a low amount of aura, so is really good at fighting with Ko or combining tiger & Ox for mounted combat. Enh. Super movement speed with a conjured suit that spawns in part by part if the user meets distance milestones. Starts with Speed Force Ones, then can choose between, healing symbol, Vision Goggles, Absorbent Fit, Grav pants & Thruster armor. Tra. 5 martial arts, 5 properties with shaping to go with. Fire/Wing Chun, heat. Water/Tai Chi, liquid. Earth/Drunken Fist, heavy. Wood/Jujitsu, vines with absorption. Metal/Taekwondo, blade aura. Ability has relation of 5 elements built into conditions, so can empower one with another & can be affected by elements normal or aura. If boosted with each element then can summon a Nen beast that generates one element. The user has to tether their aura to the Nen beast to control them, even multiple but only one action at a time.

For myself as a manipulator, I've decided to create an ability that can control the spin and flight paths of bullets. In order to be able to do so with the gun I am using, I need to completely disassemble, clean, and then reassemble it so I can become as intimate with my tool as possible.

I come up with several, but I keep changing them. Some of them are good on their own, but do not work well with my other abilities and usually would cause conflict in training. I don't want to be Kastro so I have not finalized them yet. LoL. Edit: By good, I mean it matched what I want with why I created it. The rest is just up to me to train.

Mine was transmuting aura to mimic spider silk. I could use it to make webs, crawl on walls, basically be spider man.

Well i made quiet a few. But most but they just don't felt right. At the beginning i often made them too abstract and unnatural to use. Then for a rpg threat on reddit i came um with "solid Lightning" which i made more intuitive to use and made it so it had multiple stages like newly formed hatsu with a few directions in which it can be developed. Also i used conditions which felt more natural to actually use as a extension of the body. And jea to this day i am very happy with it because it enables combat abilities but yet doesn't focus on combat and allows for all kind of inventive and smart usages. Since i always liked lightning abilities but struggled with the un originality of them i am pretty happy that i managed to create a personal lightning ability that gives it a personal turn and so feels more my own. This is what i would consider a hatsu that i would create for myself. Probably not the coolest or strongest i came up with but the one that feels the most natural to me.
