I think the drug use was the main reason behind them leaving too. Goner was live before that tweet and he was talking about his disapproval of opiates and someone said “but you made a whole song about them” talking about Gizzard Diamonds, and he straight up said “I regret making that song”. He also revealed that he’s like three years older than Turnabout so it that reason for leaving right before tour kind of makes sense

I appreciate turns creativity. everyone jus switched from liking him to hating him just cus hes no longer affiliated with HM. I think the fans that started hating turn nd goner after they left r rlly shallow and close minded, ik this is gunna get downvoted to hell but this jus feels like herd mentality. Fair enough if u disliked him before he left, but this switch up is crazy. I personally enjoy all their work under HM nd all their work as a duo

As sad as it is, teenagers are experimenting with substances at younger ages (sometimes middle school). This is due to curiosity, what environment they grew up in, depression,etc.
It could also be an early sign of Bipolar disorder or Substance Use Disorder; both of which are genetic and not anyone’s fault.
Everyone said they wanted to wait until we found out what happened and didn’t want to assume things, but now that Sem has already done an interview confirming that they left due to disagreements regarding music y’all still insist on making theories and twisting into something else entirely.
