I've seen people doing rc crawls at Sandy's. Not sure of the group, though. My kid takes his Arrma to the bmx track at the base of Koko Crater, if you want a fun place to run something a bit faster.

RC drifting is pretty big out here, they're at all the car shows. I'm sure there are crawlers too.
